The Nazis also bombed Wieluri, Frampol, and Kamieniec in Poland killing Polish civilians in September 1939, they bombed 14 cities in France, including Lyons, between May 9 and 10, 1940 and on 14 May 1940 the Luftwaffe bombed Rotterdam, a major city full of civilians, killing over 800 people, destroying the historic city center, which (with the Luftwaffe threatening to terror bomb Utrecht as well) lead to the capitulation of the Dutch, therefore a success when it comes to terror bombing civilian targets for strategic purposes.
