Well my view is this, if they are really and truly interested and dedicated to doing their job, eventually they will excel at it

2017-11-30 00:11:44 UTC

Yes, practice does make perfect after all.

2017-11-30 00:12:13 UTC

So if this person is making a shit product now, in time he may make the best product if he really likes doing it

2017-11-30 00:13:01 UTC

Yes, that is what I am talking about, when I say that he should be given time to practice to become compitent in producing it.

2017-11-30 00:13:01 UTC

Is there some kind of threshold or balance system for determining how “well-suited” a person is to assign them to a job?

2017-11-30 00:13:27 UTC

Like in fascism how does the government determine where a person will work

2017-11-30 00:13:37 UTC

If there is no free choice

2017-11-30 00:14:02 UTC

@Brickiest Brick Remember what I said earlier about the product being graded on how much it benefits society.

2017-11-30 00:14:22 UTC

Yes I do remember

2017-11-30 00:16:11 UTC

What I meant to say, is that when a person is given a task to produce a product, it should be graded on how much it can benefit society, if it is inadequte, then they would be tasked with practicing to become better at their job, and if they still cannot do it, then they would have to be given a different job that they are better at.

2017-11-30 00:17:20 UTC

People practice at different rates, though

2017-11-30 00:17:43 UTC

It may take one person 1 month to create the ideal product while another may take 6 months

2017-11-30 00:17:58 UTC

Mhm.

2017-11-30 00:18:30 UTC

That is why the amount of time we would have to give to people would have to be based on what they are as a person.

2017-11-30 00:18:43 UTC

AKA, on a case by case basis.

2017-11-30 00:19:17 UTC

Alright so what you’re saying is freedom of choice is allowed?

2017-11-30 00:19:26 UTC

At least to an extent

2017-11-30 00:20:40 UTC

A limited extent, but yes, it takes some freedom for a person to realize what they are best at.

2017-11-30 00:21:23 UTC

Why would this idea be worse under a capitalistic system

2017-11-30 00:21:45 UTC

Would the person not choose the job they would in a fascist society

2017-11-30 00:24:37 UTC

Well, when they reached the age when they needed to begin providing for themselves, they would be assigned by the government to whatever job they worked the best in, though in some cases people may have to work jobs they could be happier in, if they work their best and did what they were best in, then they would benefit society much better as a whole.

2017-11-30 00:25:01 UTC

One thing that should be noted, is that when people are forced upon one path, they focus much more on that one path, in order to become better at it.

2017-11-30 00:25:39 UTC

I do not recall if I read that from iron march, or mein kampf, but it is still worthy of the notation, regardless.

2017-11-30 00:28:35 UTC

That makes a lot of sense I will say that I agree

2017-11-30 00:28:55 UTC

But now there's the question of how this type of government works

2017-11-30 00:29:23 UTC

If it's all up to the government and the government supplies all the jobs and materials, is it really possible to sustain this in the long term?

2017-11-30 00:29:49 UTC

Because in a socialist or communist government nationalizing industry usually leads to disaster, so how would this type work

2017-11-30 00:33:38 UTC

Ah yes, this is where the big divergence in fascism and communism comes into play, where a worker in a communist or socialist government is given everything they are needed by a factory, (Or at least that is the theory.), a fascist worker is obligated to provide for himself, one way or another, the state would play very little role in actually giving people supplies/materials for living.

2017-11-30 00:35:02 UTC

Ah ok

2017-11-30 00:35:26 UTC

So would there be private businesses? How would government regulate businesses and supply jobs?

2017-11-30 00:37:22 UTC

Private business would exist in very little capacity, at most it would be trading/bargaining groups, the government would keep an extremely watchful eye on them, in order to make sure they do not begin scamming people.

2017-11-30 00:37:40 UTC

How would the public businesses work

2017-11-30 00:37:59 UTC

Everyone would just be working for the government then

2017-11-30 00:40:20 UTC

In a sense; they would be, to put it bluntly.

2017-11-30 00:40:47 UTC

How would the economy work exactly

2017-11-30 00:40:57 UTC

Would the government regulate the economy

2017-11-30 00:41:13 UTC

And how do workers get paid

2017-11-30 00:44:19 UTC

The economy would most likely be in a complete whreck after the helter skelter, with global trade not being seen for an extremely long time, it is likely that the economy itself will be primarily localized and agrigarian. The government would control most if not all of the economy as a whole, workers would be paid with a currency not based off of hardly anything other than the amount of money that is produced, workers would use it to exchange for items that they would need for living.

2017-11-30 00:46:19 UTC

So there is no more class system like in capitalism

2017-11-30 00:46:31 UTC

No low, middle and high classes

2017-11-30 00:46:46 UTC

There would be, but there would be little difference.
