Same month my friend had her contract ignored (employers can do that in my state, even if it's notarized) and let her go b/c we're an *at-will* state. You can be let-go for no reason what so ever.

She couldn't afford her rent and literally had to move b/c her renter evicted her while she was still looking for a job.

Not even a 30 day notice or anything. Just a letter dropped off by the sheriff "Get out or get jailed."
