@GohanLSSJ2 retard alert

2018-02-10 17:41:29 UTC

oi one of you explain the differences between communism communism and anarcho communism

2018-02-10 17:44:21 UTC

I have no fucking idea what anarcho communism is

2018-02-10 17:44:53 UTC

Guessing it's primal communism

2018-02-10 17:57:37 UTC

@GohanLSSJ2 democracy is a meme

2018-02-10 18:26:50 UTC

@DICK KICKEM 422 Communism says that there needs to be a revolution, then the workers will use a Vangaurd Party (a party run by the workers) and then found a Proletariat Dictatorship. This is meant to protect the workers interests, and create a transitional period where the state culturally prepares the proletariat for Full Communism.

Anaracho-Communism just says that we can enter that Full Communism stage right at the beginning.

2018-02-10 18:27:14 UTC

Personally, I don't fully agree with either. I'm an Anarcho-Syndicalist.

2018-02-10 18:54:50 UTC

@Builderelf And what makes you think the unions will solve everything?

2018-02-10 18:55:26 UTC

even today, unions are such fucking mafias

2018-02-10 18:55:49 UTC

meh, I dont see it that way

2018-02-10 18:56:02 UTC

I think they would give a lot of structure to an anarchist society

2018-02-10 18:56:06 UTC

@Blueberries That, or they are completely useless.

2018-02-10 18:56:20 UTC

plus, adding direct democracy makes it pretty hard to corrupt a union.

2018-02-10 18:56:22 UTC

@Builderelf They clearly hardly do anything today.

2018-02-10 18:56:27 UTC

they protect the union members in the expense of everyone else

2018-02-10 18:56:49 UTC

but if EVERYONE was a union member (or vitrually everyone)...

2018-02-10 18:56:52 UTC

le gasp

2018-02-10 18:56:56 UTC

but anyway

2018-02-10 18:57:15 UTC

most school teachers are such garbage, and they won't ever be touched by anyone unless they go as far as raping someone

2018-02-10 18:57:19 UTC

because UNION PROTECTION

2018-02-10 18:57:36 UTC

@Builderelf Now you are thinking like a trotskyist, because the system dosen't work unless everybody magically agree's to it.

2018-02-10 18:57:43 UTC

i rather have inefficient people fired than secured by a mafia

2018-02-10 18:58:23 UTC

They are useless today because of the fact that people don't believe in them anymore. People see that the unions got us in the States 8hr work week and other worker compensations, and dont see unions as necessary anymore. Plus, people see them as dangerous. That's why unions are so weak now, but they can still return to their old glory, and history has proven their effectiveness and potential power.

2018-02-10 18:58:34 UTC

Overall, I see them having a *lot* of potential.

2018-02-10 18:58:39 UTC

That's why I advocate for them.

2018-02-10 18:59:27 UTC

also, I was kinda joking about everyone joining a union, I don't believe thats realistic. That was a meme, but still, very trotsky-like, you are correct.

2018-02-10 18:59:27 UTC

@Builderelf No they didn't many, many jobs still have prople work 12hr+, infact some people in my family do, just with benefits provided to them by the company, not the union.

2018-02-10 19:00:29 UTC

I'm sorry to hear that. But I still think that having a stronger union to negiotate for the workers could lower the work week.

2018-02-10 19:00:54 UTC

@Blueberries the government is mafia

2018-02-10 19:01:00 UTC

@Builderelf Hey, I ain't complaining about it since we get a shit ton of money from it.

2018-02-10 19:01:06 UTC

Also, welfare capitalism (the idea that the business owners should give you benefits not the unions) was mostly implemented after WW1 when unions were really scary.

2018-02-10 19:01:19 UTC

treu @RelativeProfit#8030

2018-02-10 19:01:22 UTC

true*

2018-02-10 19:01:26 UTC

god I cant spell

2018-02-10 19:01:28 UTC

They were a stopgag measure to appease the workers.

2018-02-10 19:01:37 UTC

The thing is that, unions will probably never get stronger, not in the sense that you would prefer.

2018-02-10 19:01:46 UTC

@GohanLSSJ2 Who is they?

2018-02-10 19:01:51 UTC

A man can dream.

2018-02-10 19:02:22 UTC

@Builderelf Sure, but maybe you shoulden't have too unrealistic dreams.

2018-02-10 19:03:02 UTC

Eh, I think it's possible. I'm doing my part for sure, I myself founded a socialist club at my school, and I have some good turnouts. I'm even converting some people to Anarchism!

2018-02-10 19:03:10 UTC

So I don't think it's too idealistic.
