I'll put it as how comrade stalin explains it
"The slave system would be senseless, stupid and unnatural under modern conditions. But under the conditions of a disintegrating primitive communal system, the slave system is a quite understandable and natural phenomenon, since it represents an advance on the primitive communal system"
- Stalin, Dialectical and Historical Materialism
Take Ancient Greece and Rome
And Egypt
They were all slave societies, advances on primitivism
Huge slaving empires
After a lot of time passed, feudalism emerged
Slavery was replaced by serfdom
And after a lot of time passed, capitalism emerged
Serfdom was replaced by wage slavery
And after a lot of time, socialism emerged
Wage slavery was abolished, and workers owned the value of their labour
socialism > gommunism
@Borzo that doesn't work. If I buy a bunch of heavy equipment then people I hire can't just get all the profit from the equipment I bought... They get a fair wage
Now if they themselves owned the equipment they have that right to more of the profit
Ie a small business owner
Like a small family owned mom and pop store
But since most businesses aren't like that they are entitled to a fair wage
It's refreshing to hear good sense
if you do none of the work you get none of the gain, I don't give a damn about your "property rights"
the boss needs you, you don't need him
labor is entitled to all it creates
just ask the wobblies
here is a picture i made of the reality of my country
and they all push for the same damn things, just at different times
you get almost all your news from here if you live in america and use american outlets
five companies
you're looking at the bias on too small of a scale, they're all biased towards american imperialism and corporate interests
this particular image is fox news but I could find the same shit from CNN or wapo
1984 had it all wrong, we don't just have a Department of Truth
we have a Department of Truth and a Truth Department and they both hate each other
@Apple O'Day All wealth is generated by labour
All property relations in the past have continually been subject to historical change consequent upon the change in historical conditions.
The French Revolution, for example, abolished feudal property in favour of bourgeois property.
The distinguishing feature of Communism is not the abolition of property generally, but the abolition of bourgeois property. But modern bourgeois private property is the final and most complete expression of the system of producing and appropriating products, that is based on class antagonisms, on the exploitation of the many by the few.
We Communists have been reproached with the desire of abolishing the right of personally acquiring property as the fruit of a man’s own labour, which property is alleged to be the groundwork of all personal freedom, activity and independence.
Hard-won, self-acquired, self-earned property! Do you mean the property of petty artisan and of the small peasant, a form of property that preceded the bourgeois form? There is no need to abolish that; the development of industry has to a great extent already destroyed it, and is still destroying it daily.
