@Danny Sullivan , so who is poorer, my African American family, or your white family?
My African American mother has done work with senators, mind you.
@Rayn198806 i mean we have nothing but your word on what race you are
so... you could be making this all up
I'll post a pic, later.
@Rayn198806 what's the point you're trying to make
You're black and more wealthy and I'm white and less wealthy
What's the point?
That's the point.
How can that be applied to a larger scale?
How does that change statistics?
Do you live in the US?
If so, how many poor, white people in your area work minimum wage?
he lives in the us
White people in the US are experiencing poverty on large scales. Like @Danny Sullivan here.
Yes that's true
But black people have it the worst
By far
So, on a larger scale, the US is full of poor white people, so why in the world are we honing in on blacks.
danny is right for once
He says to the black person making 100K

the exception not the rule
Anecdotes aren't evidence
I'm not saying black people in America are poor because they're dumb or something
Poor white people are poor because they are uneducated, and uneducated people say things like this.
Think what you want, poor person.
When you enslave an entire demographic for 500 years
And then oppress them for another 70 years
And it's hard for that group to recover overnight
@Rayn198806 as a whole blacks have a higher poverty rate than whites
thats a statistical fact
The affects can last generations
@Danny Sullivan , do you know why I'm so wealthy?
I have four degrees, so I'm able to work in STEM fields.
alright good for you
that doesnt dispute the fact that blacks on average are poorer than whites
It disputes the fact slavery had an impact. Cultural issues can be mitigated by education, so negative cultural effects were mitigated by education.
