are you trying to make us feel bad or something

2019-06-27 21:50:13 UTC

We have a revocable living trust at the moment.

2019-06-27 21:50:50 UTC

@laurentia , I'm pointing out the absurdisty of the premise.

2019-06-27 21:52:01 UTC

I'm on my cell phone waiting on my fiance. I just finished up work. That's why.

2019-06-27 21:52:23 UTC

wow those sure is a nice story

2019-06-27 21:53:13 UTC

How's it a story. Your dad works in economics. Surely he taught you about living trusts.

2019-06-27 21:53:51 UTC

It's a way to bypass how wills have to be authenticated in court.

2019-06-27 21:53:58 UTC

its a story because its the internet
anybody can say they're anybody

2019-06-27 21:54:27 UTC

Do you agree there are things called living trusts, @laurentia ?

2019-06-27 21:55:00 UTC

i'm not saying you're wrong
i'm saying that you can say anything on the internet and we cant tell if its true or not

2019-06-27 21:55:34 UTC

So, why would it be unreasonable to believe someone online has a trust?

2019-06-27 21:56:05 UTC

i'm saying you can say you're anyone on the internet

2019-06-27 21:56:29 UTC

besides even if lets say everything you've said is true it really doesnt affect me

2019-06-27 21:56:31 UTC

I believe in estate planning, by the way, so I believe everyone should think about these things.

2019-06-27 21:56:57 UTC

Right now rayn is making a good argument for finance seizure

2019-06-27 21:57:03 UTC

ok danny

2019-06-27 21:58:00 UTC

Technically, everyone has an estate and a default will. I believe people should think about living trusts for their assets, otherwise, what's in a will can be eaten up in court cost.

2019-06-27 21:58:25 UTC

My father made sure to drill estate planning into my head.

2019-06-27 21:58:51 UTC

alright good for you i guess

2019-06-27 22:00:02 UTC

wow danny i'm sure thats an entirely true story

2019-06-27 22:00:16 UTC

I'm just answering the question to what happens to my wealth when I die. The name of my accounts is currently the name of my trust. The goal is for the beneficiaries to be our kids.

2019-06-27 22:00:59 UTC

There are no kids, right now, and currently we are the only trustees.

2019-06-27 22:01:19 UTC

When you die the money can go to yourself

2019-06-27 22:01:56 UTC

I meet a lot of children of the rich whenever I travel to Central America

2019-06-27 22:02:06 UTC

Nope, because we are working out who would be the trustee and the stipulations.

2019-06-27 22:02:13 UTC

They'll spend their youth traveling around the world like beatniks

2019-06-27 22:02:20 UTC

And just wait for their parents to die

2019-06-27 22:02:27 UTC

They would need to ask the trustee to allocate the money.

2019-06-27 22:02:30 UTC

So they can live of their inheritance

2019-06-27 22:03:13 UTC

They can't because they only get what the trustee can legally give them based on what we said.

2019-06-27 22:03:38 UTC

They get no money?

2019-06-27 22:03:55 UTC

This is why you do trust and not wills, lol

2019-06-27 22:04:18 UTC

We are still working out the finances.

2019-06-27 22:04:44 UTC

Me and my fiance are thinking about social causes.

2019-06-27 22:05:33 UTC

Like small bits go to make our future kids comfortable

2019-06-27 22:05:53 UTC

The rest goes into investing into what we were for while alive
