Personally, I picked Science because the relationship between energy and forces is realer than the relationship between money and goods because money depends on human society and energy does not. Similar equations just one is tangible.

2019-06-27 22:32:09 UTC

So I didn't go the route of my parents.

2019-06-27 22:32:52 UTC

I understand politics, but it being extrinsic to humans bores me.

2019-06-27 22:33:04 UTC

again rayn you're just kinda telling us random bits of information for no real reason

2019-06-27 22:33:14 UTC

Not really.

2019-06-27 22:33:57 UTC

a lot of this doesnt really connect with the conversation

2019-06-27 22:34:39 UTC

it sounds more like bragging

2019-06-27 22:35:02 UTC

From an African American male, who isn't poor.

2019-06-27 22:35:21 UTC

alright? so?

2019-06-27 22:35:29 UTC

that topic kinda ended a while ago

2019-06-27 22:35:29 UTC

That's the point.

2019-06-27 22:35:34 UTC

Okay

2019-06-27 22:35:44 UTC

the only person really caring about that was danny

2019-06-27 22:36:04 UTC

Okay

2019-06-27 22:36:22 UTC

what even are you politically

2019-06-27 22:38:00 UTC

if you say apolitical i will get mad

2019-06-27 22:38:57 UTC

Why does that matter to you?

2019-06-27 22:39:24 UTC

Anywho, what do you mean?

2019-06-27 22:39:32 UTC

You mean my party?

2019-06-27 22:39:49 UTC

yeah but more your beliefs

2019-06-27 22:41:07 UTC

My beliefs philosophically are more abstract than politics. For example, I believe in maximizing pro-social behavior because it increases human fitness.

2019-06-27 22:42:06 UTC

Or, I believe that people should make decisions that are consistent, because it more than likely will produce more effective results.

2019-06-27 22:42:15 UTC

ok let me rephrase that
what are your stances on some key political issues

2019-06-27 22:42:39 UTC

Like which ones? What are key political issues?

2019-06-27 22:43:24 UTC

Gun control or immigration

2019-06-27 22:43:36 UTC

abortion
weath gap
guns
foreign policy
immigration

2019-06-27 22:43:36 UTC

etc

2019-06-27 22:44:39 UTC

Honestly, I'm not impacted directly by any of those issues so I don't really care.

2019-06-27 22:45:17 UTC

I'm a wealthy man engaged to another man who isn't impacted by immigration.

2019-06-27 22:46:30 UTC

oh so you're one of those "if it doesnt affect me personally it doesnt matter" people

2019-06-27 22:46:42 UTC

Basically, yea.

2019-06-27 22:47:10 UTC

ewww

2019-06-27 22:47:11 UTC

I'm assuming you're socially progressive?

2019-06-27 22:50:17 UTC

I love how I told you what I believe in and you guys are ignoring it. Once again, I abstractly believe in maximizing pro-social behavior because it's correlated with human fitness and logically justified by Game Theory.

2019-06-27 22:50:37 UTC

game theory?

2019-06-27 22:50:56 UTC

So, anything that is intrinsically anti-social, I am against on principle.

2019-06-27 22:51:21 UTC

well the reason we dont get it is because you are being incredibly vague about it

2019-06-27 22:52:05 UTC

No. For example, senseless violence is bad because it makes society unstable, so because I don't want unstable societies, I am against say senseless violence.
