First off how well do you know Julius?
better than most people
but not as good as historians
i probably can answer your questions
Yay alright I got like 3 I need to ask and if you can answer them with 5-6 well made sentences that would be good
So first one I need to ask is this: What was Julius Caesarβs philosophy on rules and laws?
He believed that there needed a strong centralized government to rule the Republic, which was a total mess and completely corrupted, and when they kept interfering with his actions. He was a populist and was part of the Populares party in Rome, which was basically giving the plebs more power and a stronger dictatorship role in Rome.
He was also infamously a stotic, the philosophy that emotions shouldn't get in the way of rationality
OMG THANK YOU
This is really good
Exactly what I needed
Np
Anything more
I can go more into detail if you want
I think Iβm good with the info for now
: D
I actually got 4 more questions to ask if u donβt mind and thatβs it
Second question: what value did Julius Caesar place on education?
Idk what you mean but Iβm pretty sure itβs asking how much he valued the education there
He wanted Roman Citizens to be educated like they normally were, he wasn't really against the Roman education system due to how many brilliant people it created. The Roman Education taught every boy to preform speeches, warfare, other languages, philosophy , Roman politics, and trade craft. When at home, their parents would teach them the family trade.
Could you say atleast once more sentence? And then I think thatβs enough info
This education would also teach each Roman the value of service to Rome and that how they were constantly besieged on all sides so they must learn how to fight everyone effectively and prepare to defend the motherland.
Alright thatβs enough info thank you sm it really helps with my project
Next question is this: How would you describe Julius Caesarβs treatment towards other ppl?
uhhh that's extremely vague but
Idk thatβs the question on my packet I gotta ask
As far as i know Caesar wanted to help the poor
Like giving land to them
Caesar could be considered a psychopath in many regards, he wanted nothing but his own personal power and the absolute destruction of his enemies. However, he was also in many regards, a family man, treating Brutus and Labienus like his own sons, even as they betrayed him. He wanted to progress his family greatly and when Pompey as killed he is said to be so enraged that he didn't kill them, that he killed the Egyptian that informed him or his death.
@Deleted User that he did
Also giving land to veterans
That was a Roman tradition
not really Caesar's plan
@Ned Kelly eh he did not want to murder ppl who betrayd him tho
Say that to Pompeii lol
He had a Vendetta against him
Alright thank you and damn thatβs tuff
