There are many denominations of protestants including independents that don't fall into a specific protestant denomination but if you are Christian and not Catholic it's likely a denomination of Protistants. That is unless its Morman/Latter Day Saints that are there own thing.
no lol. christian hell is just fire. the book i read specifically mentioned the 3 deities that judge people's soul, cutting tongues and getting hanged by the stump of their tongue, getting boiled in a vat of oil, getting eaten by ants, etc.
My understanding is Christian hell's true punishment is more the permanent separation from God more then the pain you would experience that is described in other places; that is more an addition to the punishment.
It's well known that Hell has a firey imagery and to be honest, when I started learning about Greek mythology and the Underworld it had a very dark and cold imagery to it
and to me, that'd kind of my interpretation of Hell
just void of hope
cold and dark
If you've ever experienced depression, that's an excellent example of "Hell on Earth"
What would other be
Ah, i thought you were talking about the christan fan-fiction Dantes Inferno at first
LMAO
fanfiction is the correct world to describe it XDD
@Kaladin what religion are you
Pretty certain he’s Christian.
noice
Born again Christian

Lord of the Rings books were too boring. Too much filler detail
But they aren’t bad
Harry Potter is better though
I have not watched or read any of these books or movies. <:KEK:795742276549607456>
my fort is more trashy shit that i want to gorge my eyes out from reading
Tell me about it. I remember back in middle and elementary school that there kids that would read these couple thousand pages long of harry potter books all for them to win a contest or something like that.
It was called battle of the books I think. I never did that and glad I didn't.
The longest book I've read is obviously the bible
I couldn't read anything that long at all.
Now if you've actually read the Bible in its entirety, that's better than most Christians.
Other than the bible
i havent read the entire bible and im a christian <:SadPepe:801485397678489660>
Mad respect to christians who read the whole thing, instead of just waht their preacher says is in it
Yeah I should've specified
honestly im not a very good christian anymore im ashamed
I haven't read it all<:SadPepe:801485397678489660>
Its a good read
just don't take it 100% literally in all sections, think more like parable
I need to do a whole lot more of being what a true Christian is meant to be though
All you gotta is don't ever doubt the bible. Everything I here at church and studies is good for my soul quite literally.
all you have to do to be a christian is to have faith in the Lord, whatever else you do is simply to walk with God. Simply accepting Christ as your savior will get you into Heaven, but what you do on Earth to please the Lord is a different story. We all sin, but attempting to avoid such sin is where I've found myself to be closest to the Lord. I also suggest reading through the Bible, but reading it alone won't help you much. There are explanatory books and videos to follow which will lead you through the Bible. My personal favorite is *Thru The Bible with Dr. James Vernon McGee*. He was a pastor from Oklahoma and you can find his series on their website or youtube. I hope this helps someone, have a blessed night :)
Sorry for the incoherence of my message, it's late and I'm not too fussed about grammar atm
Never read or watched either
Disappointment 100
