As basically a PC gamer only my whole life (well I did own an original wii but don't think I ever did any online play), having to pay to play online is such a foreign concept for me.
It's stupid in my opinion. I am a pc and ps4 gamer. I gave up paying to play online on the ps4
I pay for internet and I pay for the games I want to play. All those games have in game purchases. It is just annoying and a hassle in my opinion

Man apple really makes it hard to stay on their device. It's nearly impossible to download a video you captured to your computer maintaining capture resolution
no bluetooth file transfer, device media storage is segregated into multiple folders with no rhyme or reason, and when you finally do find the video usb transfer gives you a non-helpful error

I remember in the time of first couple generations of iphone if you had iMessage enabled, then switched back to an android phone down the road, you wouldnt get messages from other iphone users until you disabled iMessage from an iphone
which was a big problem for people who traded in their iphones for upgrade deals

I think it's easier now where you can *probably* disable it online but I believe if you swap over and didnt know to do that you still wont receive text messages from iphone users
