But he is the weapon

2021-02-18 23:46:41 UTC

doggos are awesome

2021-02-18 23:46:48 UTC

I remember having that kind of remote

2021-02-18 23:47:06 UTC

God it feels weird seeing one of those in this day and age

2021-02-18 23:47:15 UTC

who else is lowkey creeped out that all the new remotes have mics

2021-02-18 23:47:32 UTC

My parents has one

2021-02-18 23:47:33 UTC

If you've got bombs or missiles coming down on you, I doubt you're going to care if it's an old Cropduster biplane or a supersonic jet fighter, the explosives in those canisters work the same either way.

2021-02-18 23:47:35 UTC

🙋‍♂️

2021-02-18 23:47:35 UTC

Its weird

2021-02-18 23:48:08 UTC

Just take away the propellers on the old planes and replace them with a jet engine

2021-02-18 23:48:13 UTC

Most prop planes are used in the drug war in south America

2021-02-18 23:48:37 UTC

That doesn't really work, the airframes can't take the increased stress.

2021-02-18 23:48:45 UTC

Make them better

2021-02-18 23:48:46 UTC

Duh

2021-02-18 23:48:46 UTC

There usually armed to the teeth

2021-02-18 23:48:58 UTC

yes, and let them rip themselves apart when they break the sound barrier <:KEK:795742276549607456>

2021-02-18 23:49:19 UTC

Use the old blueprints but use better materials

2021-02-18 23:49:22 UTC

ngl tho, most planes are surprisingly durable

2021-02-18 23:49:34 UTC

Well, if that's the argument, then wouldn't it just be cheaper to manufacture a new plane?

2021-02-18 23:49:46 UTC

No

2021-02-18 23:49:49 UTC

Takes too long

2021-02-18 23:50:01 UTC

Not really.

2021-02-18 23:50:25 UTC

Assembly line takes less time than tearing apart an old plane and rebuilding it from the ground up.

2021-02-18 23:51:04 UTC

eh, it depends to what extent your re-engineering them. R&D can cost billions on its own, so upgrading existing planes often works well. That's how we are able to fly our f16s and a10s thirty years in, b/c we upgrade the hell out of them to keep up with the times

2021-02-18 23:51:28 UTC

It's the same reason why recycling isn't more of a thing here in the US. It's cheaper to dig the new materials out of the ground, takes less man-hours of work to do, and doesn't require any added infrustructure.

2021-02-18 23:51:47 UTC

What if we took all of the best planes rn and just smashed them together

2021-02-18 23:51:57 UTC

Ummm no

2021-02-18 23:51:58 UTC

I wonder if I could fit a few lewis lmg or water cooled 1919s on my cessna 172 for ww1 larping

2021-02-18 23:52:31 UTC

Congratulations, you are now using the exact logic of the Biafra Babies.

2021-02-18 23:52:44 UTC

yes, but if your not recycling the entire plane, rather just improving its computer systems or updating its weaponry, you can save money but utilizing the original jet.

2021-02-18 23:53:00 UTC

Also we're abit off topic

2021-02-18 23:53:06 UTC

Yeah, but he talking about prop planes tho.

2021-02-18 23:53:25 UTC

Several countries still fly proplanes

2021-02-18 23:53:33 UTC

True.

2021-02-18 23:53:36 UTC

tourbo-props in particular are very capable, and the U.S was considering replacing the A10 with a turboprop

2021-02-18 23:53:39 UTC

i gun pew

2021-02-18 23:54:19 UTC

Oh lol didnt think someone knew of that

2021-02-18 23:54:21 UTC

Also, if you're replacing the airframe then, yes you are basically tearing the plane completely apart.

2021-02-18 23:54:29 UTC

It's nerf or something you know the thing

2021-02-18 23:54:58 UTC

I need one of those
