Meant to say 1 John 5 15-18
So I have a question. And serious I believe in Jesus. If even tiny little sins will get us into Hell how can we ever fully trust God to keep us?
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you don’t have last rites performed on you, you can go to purgatory, I like to think of it as the waiting room for heaven.
You need to repent, and not do the sin again
If we ask for forgiveness then our record is clean. Gods takes our sin as far as the east is from the west
There's no such thing as the purgatory
Yeah
It's either hell or heaven
Purgatory does exist
So much I wanna unpack but I just joined this channel lol
Yes
Prove with bible verse
Can I see a verse talking about purgatory?
@Onespicyboi I like your name and picture lol
Thanks
But I’m with the President on this one. No Purgatory.
That's judgment day
Everyone will stand before the lord on that day
Yes ^
Yes the judgement is either heaven or hell
Most of the verses are in the books that Martin Luther took out. Also class is starting so I can’t talk anymore but at least it was a respectable conversation
?
The bible was inspired by the holy spirit
It was nice having this conversation, I have to go to class too, God Bless you all!
Have fun learn hard Pizzacork

Godbless
U too!
Nothing unclean shall enter the kingdom of heaven, so unless grandpa was as saintly as mother Teresa, he needs to be scrubbed clean of his venial sins before he can enter heaven. Purgatory is for people who are assured heaven, but are not yet clean. It is not a place where you can change from hell to heaven.
The purgatory does not exist. It's either you die clean or die unclean, simple as that
I don’t think that’s possible for most people myself included. Most of us have not been made *perfect* yet.
Just gonna get this out there, I do not agree with some of the catholic beliefs, and I am down for civil arguments
At the end of time, purgatory will be made empty
