The key to destroying an argument is to get the other person to make a circle around what they define as the truth. If you find even one contradiction outside of it, their entire argument is invalid.

Now if you want to watch them break their world view you have to trick them into contradicting their own argument in a way that they become aware of it without you pointing it out, but self awareness is a requirement.

Absolute statements are the easiest parts to go for.

Example:
"all religions are valid." 'What about the religion that says all the others are false?'
once they have changed their argument, simply pointing out how they had to change their argument because they were wrong makes their position weaker.
