First I put in some parmigiana cheese... since this is a dry cheese it will help soak up juices from the meat and oils from the other cheeses.. these burgers swell a bit.. and this will keep them from leaking..
Add Mushrooms & Swiss Cheese then cover with another thin patty and work around the edges with your fingers and the Saran Wrap to seal it.
Then I slam it on the counter 3-4 times to knock the air pockets out.. these burgers are pretty fragile anyway so you want to do this so they don’t come apart while grilling.
Now flip them face down and use the Saran Wrap to get the burger out of the container.. I refrigerate for about an hour before grilling so they maintain shape and seal.
You can also bake these if you want... 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes should do...
But I’m going to grill...
I put down apple slices because burgers will drip and I don’t want them to burn or stick to the grill... and then fall apart... I set the grill to medium and I close the lid to the grill....
Now that the burgers have cooked on the bottom and some on the sides...they have firmed up some I get a metal spatula and I get under the apple slices and flip the top side of the burger directly onto the grill... gently... then I discard the apple slices... flipping these burgers more than once is really risky...
I’m sorry I missed some pics of me doing this... but here is the results...
Let’s cut into a couple of these so you can see...
This one is a mushroom and Swiss cheese...if you look around the area that is stuffed you can see that the meat is cooked no pink.. but is not over cooked and dry....
This one was a 3 Cheese ... and I think I need to taste test it ...for SCIENCE..and stuff...
I put it on a Jalapeño Cheese Bagel and CHOMP IT.... very nice... I didn’t even need to add any condiments.... it was seasoned just right and it’s plenty moist and flavorful...
Looks nice :)
u tryina make me hungry <:thrunk:617500541383213056>
What’s it made of?
I cooked sushi rice like you would for rice pudding with milk and sugar. I made crepes with added cocoa powder to the dough itself, put the rice on that pancake sheet, then placed a banana with chocolate sauce in the middle and rolled it like a sushi roll
I like it because it's just a bit sweet but not super sweet
Nice 😋
Ingenious idea with the apple slices! At first, I thought they were eggplant.
Mmmm very german chocolate
You can also use onion slices to add flavor while grilling to cook with indirect heat...
Cool. I'm German but I don't know that one. It's coffeine chocolate
Caffeine*
I'm sure you could but I can't even be around onions. @The Squawk 🦅
Can those be shipped internationally, where does one buy that, looks soooooooooooooooooooo amazing
@optimas got mine on amazon
The germans in ww2 used a version of this caffeinated dark chocolate with Kola nut and coffee in their mre ration. It kept them alert and awake. It was interesting. Only found out about it from mre reviewer steve1989. Finally brought due to price on amazon not being so insane.
Ww2 version was 52% dark. Modern version is 58% dark chocolate
Indirect heat....someome knows his way around the bbq! 👍
