Not saying do it for sure, but it's a good option
yeah, ive always been interested in the army vehicles, mainly tanks, so getting a job working in or on them would be great,
Machinery people are pretty valuable id imagine. Not many people know about that kind thing.
yep, and i woudnt have to pay a mechanic every time i needed to work on something, and if i get out retirement i could open a shop or look for a decent one. id rather be working somewhere with my hands than anywhere else
That sounds like a really excellent plan. Way ahead of most folks. If that's what you decide to do, the most important thing is to put in the work. Success is 80% keeping at it.
Equally important: as much as you can, stay out of debt.
thats the plan, luckily ive heard trade schools are cheaper than regular college, and after army discounts would definitely help
even if i dont get into the armored units or whatever theyre called, still serving would be quite fine with me
Definitely! All debt too. Credit cards are the devil.
yeah, i plan to keep a debit card as my main payment as far as non cash goes. ive been warned many times bout credit card experiences
Excellent! Debt steals wealth.
oh yeah, i do my best to stay out of it
So many smart folks in here! I'm hopeful for the future.
Is there an advantage to taking calculus, I’m doing my programming and I don’t know if I should do it
so am i, and hopefully more smart people come
Amen
not sure, not that high up yet USofA, isnt calculus very very difficult?
It depends on what you want to do. If you're going into engineering it's essential. Even some areas of artificial intelligence use it heavily.
I’m drifting off into the medical field so idk
Taking calculus to some extent can help you develop an instinct for mathematical relationships, which can be helpful in most areas of science
Yeah, I have a lot of time on my hands since most of my senior year will be electives
It definitely can be
thought so, does anyone know if its mandatory?
It wasn't when I was in HS, to graduate, but it was required for some college programs in order to get in.
Anyone know G-code for a CNC mill? Any tips on learning G-code?
It depends. For engineering and natural science majors, calculus is required, but for other majors the minimum is pre-calc
ah ok, thanks
I submitted my geometry assignment, praying for a good grade... I don't have a very good teacher.
Can you give an example of what a trade school is? I’ve heard the term thrown everywhere but not sure what it really means? Is Police academy a trade school?
It is not that difficult.
I need help with an essay
first, what is your opinion? do you agree or disagree?
Nah i dont think people should be famous
to leave a legacy
okay, so now you've your thesis
why do you think so?
I think i got it now
thanks
it's debatable on what counts as a legacy since something small like helping a food bank isn't famous but can leave a legacy
