10/10 would recommend using a programming software when you start drawing graphs on the x-y-z plane
Isn’t that the one that looks like (A/x-a) + (B/x-b)
It’s been a while since I’ve done partial fractions, but from what I remember you factor the denominator as much as possible
And then from there you solve for A, B, C, etc...
It should look something like what’s above the red line
Which one? There’s slope-intercept, point-slope, and standard
The equation would be y = mx + b
Put it into slope intercept form first, and if the slopes are the same then it is parallel and if the slopes are opposite-reciprocals of each other then it is perpendicular
Yes
Neither
Parallel
Don’t know if you still need help, but the trig form/ standard form equation is z = a + bi = r(cos φ + isin φ)
And r = sqrt(a^2 + b^2)
It’s 3, but couldn’t you have copied and pasted it to whatever Java IDE you use?
I guess it depends on the teacher/professor. I’ve had classes where we were encouraged to use any available resources
Stack Overflow is what I use to reference code
And after learning Java, languages like python and C++ are easier to learn. The only language I don’t like coding in as much is MIPS assembly language
It depends. For engineering and natural science majors, calculus is required, but for other majors the minimum is pre-calc
Lol the notification at the top of that screenshot
4/6 is already there because 2/2 * 2/3 = 4/6
So it would be 5/6 and 1
Do 5/5 + 3/7 first to get 10/7
Then do 10/7 * 1/5 to get 10/35 and then simplify to 2/7
You’re correct in the sense that you do 10/7 divided by 5, which can also be written as 5/1. But when you divide fractions, you have to flip the denominator and multiply that by the numerator. That means 10/7 *1/5 = 10/35 = 2/7
You should also make sure the teacher doesn’t join. I remember a professor from my school joined a snapchat group and caught a ton of people cheating
(5x + 4y)^2
23 x 18
But what happened to just memorizing a multiplication table
I passed a differential equations class over the summer
Sure, just post it here when you’re done
All good, hope you did well
Is anyone able to help with this?
Converting from C to MIPS
I don’t think it’s harder to do, but it’s harder to explain why it’s done that way
Doing homework. I’m taking 3 upper division programming classes this semester so there’s rarely any breaks between assignments
I have experience with 2/3 of the languages I’m using this semester, so it’s just more in-depth. But I’m using MIPS/C, C++, and NesC
From the video, how are only 2/434 enrolled students proficient in Math and English?
I think that’s more dependent on the level of academia. In university, if the class average is 40% but you get a 50%, you’re probably on the right track
I’ve had classes where that was the case and the professor lowered the grade scale so that more students passed
Fair point, I was interpreting “well” as getting a high grade
@BunkerHermit From what I understand, three of those points already form a triangle so that means the last point would be the determining factor. If you have points A, B, C, each of those points have a point opposite to it such as A’, B’, C’. Knowing this, there are 8 combinations of triangles that can be made and have the same area
Not sure what the actual probability is, but it’s definitely out of 8
Dang I was way off
