Syndicalism can have many shapes and taste with governmental ideologies

2021-02-27 21:25:24 UTC

I need my money for myself. I have 4 different medications to pay for, one of which costs $70 with insurance. I have possible future accidents to pay for. I have my family to pay for. I don’t need to pay for some illegal immigrant who shouldn’t be here in the first place or someone who refuses to work unlike everyone else

2021-02-27 21:25:27 UTC

I would be fine with paying health care if it was life or death

2021-02-27 21:25:33 UTC

But economically it’s the same

2021-02-27 21:25:41 UTC

Each of those was socialism, with the unique caveat of you technically owning the means of production

2021-02-27 21:25:44 UTC

and I mean life and death determined in an hour of something

2021-02-27 21:26:04 UTC

That's exactly what I'm against too. Though in all honesty, I'd be okay paying a little bit of money if it meant helping someone out with an actual medical problem.

2021-02-27 21:26:17 UTC

Yeah syndicalism

2021-02-27 21:26:23 UTC

Yeah I am so against welfare

2021-02-27 21:26:29 UTC

my parents have a special hatred

2021-02-27 21:26:34 UTC

Socialism but you can own some property

2021-02-27 21:26:46 UTC

Where the workers own the stuff but the state controls all function of the production?

2021-02-27 21:27:02 UTC

Bits and pieces

2021-02-27 21:27:16 UTC

I'm not because I was on wellfare for a while because my parents couldn't afford anything. High school was rough for me so I again value parts of the system. It's the people who refuse to do work and just live off checks that make me go -_-

2021-02-27 21:27:46 UTC

Of which? The state's control or the worker's meaningless ownership?

2021-02-27 21:27:47 UTC

Parasites must be purged from the system 100%

2021-02-27 21:28:13 UTC

I should've been more specific about those kind of welfare

2021-02-27 21:28:15 UTC

Technically both, there are multiple variations

2021-02-27 21:28:25 UTC

Theres also corporate welfare which j didnt know until recently

2021-02-27 21:28:29 UTC

Are you asking what I would support?

2021-02-27 21:28:46 UTC

Like we were on food stamps and stuff and it kept us our house. I love my house. However, I know of at least two women who barely work and they leech off of everyone else and it's sick but also hilarious because they can be really pathetic

2021-02-27 21:28:59 UTC

In essence yes

2021-02-27 21:28:59 UTC

Or what variation I like best?

2021-02-27 21:29:25 UTC

I'm fine with welfare if the people on it work and need welfare to make it a bit more

2021-02-27 21:29:26 UTC

That too

2021-02-27 21:29:38 UTC

The workers should own the means of production but the state should lead them depending what the collective needs the most atm

2021-02-27 21:29:45 UTC

Granted that would encourage McDonalds to pay very little

2021-02-27 21:30:11 UTC

The state should never decide what to produce

2021-02-27 21:30:29 UTC

I disagree.

2021-02-27 21:30:31 UTC

I guess when it comes down to it, I'm okay with paying taxes for things like the library, street lights, public parks, facilities, and healthcare that does not include transitioning, euthanasia, or abortions.

2021-02-27 21:30:43 UTC

wouldn't the companies be smart enough to know how many to produce? Like if they make more than demand it would be bad business

2021-02-27 21:31:07 UTC

The people are gears in the machine that is the nation, the head must make the decision for their wellbeing

2021-02-27 21:31:44 UTC

That's the beauty of free market capitalism though; prices determine what society needs

2021-02-27 21:31:56 UTC

That head is the CEO, not a government slackjob

2021-02-27 21:32:07 UTC

The problem starts when companies abuse that and start producing addictive substances and immoral items

2021-02-27 21:32:26 UTC

There's also environmental impact that makes me wish society would go back to log huts

2021-02-27 21:32:37 UTC

@mightytrump the capitalist pig who only want to pack their wallet yeah no

2021-02-27 21:32:41 UTC

Regulations then? Don't need to throw out an amazing economic system

2021-02-27 21:32:53 UTC

That's exactly what I came to the conclusion of

2021-02-27 21:33:00 UTC

There also deforesting for farm land which is irresistible

2021-02-27 21:33:05 UTC

It's why I'm Republican
