Believe it or not, common sense isn’t inherent to being human
I'd like to know who thought that was a good idea
believe it or not, if your parents are dumb as a rock... you are likely just as dumb or worse
Explains why we have a potato as president...
sorry I had an argument with a stupid person on facebook this morning....
But is it your own fault if your parents were morons?
it was hilarious but infuriating by the sheer level of mental gymnastics
Intelligence doesn’t automatically mean they’re gonna make good decisions
There are very smart people out there who are complete dumbasses
neither does a college degree... i know plenty of women with masters who are dumb as shit
Which is where the issue lies of people dying through natural selection, is it’s easy to do because in some eyes “it’s their own fault”
no but your parents probably shouldn't have reproduced if they are morons.... but stupid people reproduce at insane rates.
joy behar has a master degree just to give you an idea
I trick people into thinking I'm smart, but in fact, I just make a ton of mistakes and learn from them.
AOC comes to mind 🙂
you sound like a 1930 progressive
There’s only really only 2 types of smart
Book smart and common sense smart
ummmm I was raised by the 1950's standard..... where if you made a mistake you own up to it 🙂
people have drank bleach even with the warnings
Not gonna lie, the people that are really book smart but are legitimately stupid when it comes to real life simultaneously irritate and entertain me.
Honestly
I bet 10times that amount didn't because of the label
this... so much this
schools dont teach common sense, they teach you to become teachers
The kind of change this country needs is cultural
School was made to make factory workers not mature people
School makes you have big dreams and then once you get older it crushes them
I think I actually got lucky with my experience in public school
American schools have a good fundamental system of making YOU figure it out... BUT 90% of teachers implement that very very poorly

Well that happens when you have low standards for who can teach and dont lol
It's also absurdly difficult to get fired from a government job, especially when you have one of the largest unions in the country backing you up
yea..... well 3 big things would really help fix education. 1 up the standard on what it takes to even be considered for any teaching position, 2 up the pay rate for future teachers and current teachers, 3 get rid of teachers unions and give schools the ability to fire bad teachers.
🤔
isn't it the largest?
It might be, I don't know for sure though.
Personally I don't think there should be any unions at all for public sector workers. I understand why they would want them, but in practice, it's a nightmare.
nor do I... where is one of those facebook fact checkers when you need one 😉
