Also the lack of preservatives and it actually being fresh helps

2021-03-08 14:59:06 UTC

oh you guys aren’t talking about corn nuts

2021-03-08 14:59:15 UTC

gotchu

2021-03-08 14:59:34 UTC

It's like if you've ever had fresh made pasta there's a noticeable difference

2021-03-08 15:00:04 UTC

Not that I won't eat the boxed pasta, it's still fine, but holy crap when it's fresh it's amazing

2021-03-08 15:00:10 UTC

everything's better fresh, but I consider chips to be a lazy food. I don't want to expend effort making them.

2021-03-08 15:00:23 UTC

I get that

2021-03-08 15:00:48 UTC

chips are for when there’s nothing else in the house and it’s a monday when you do your weekly shopping but you’re also lazy

2021-03-08 15:00:57 UTC

The cool thing is if you make the chips yourself you can tweak them, like my wife made potato chips tempura style once

2021-03-08 15:01:19 UTC

that’s pretty neat

2021-03-08 15:01:58 UTC

I made 6 dozen pickled eggs yesterday.

2021-03-08 15:02:07 UTC

i think in like idk what grade it was but it definitely wasn’t past middle but i learned how to make butter with a water bottle and a marble

2021-03-08 15:02:30 UTC

That's actually kinda cool

2021-03-08 15:02:59 UTC

they showed us that in kindergarten with a babyfood jar. I remember doing it because I thought it was cool, but I definitely don't remember how to do it.

2021-03-08 15:03:05 UTC

the amish people visited the school for an event of sorts to teach the kids

2021-03-08 15:03:10 UTC

yeah

2021-03-08 15:03:28 UTC

My wife and I are planning on making as much stuff ourselves as we can when we get our new place

2021-03-08 15:03:36 UTC

honestly

2021-03-08 15:03:42 UTC

it’s the way to stay healthy

2021-03-08 15:03:56 UTC

good pass time too

2021-03-08 15:04:28 UTC

Yeah, and I like helping my wife in the kitchen sometimes, plus it's cheaper in the long run

2021-03-08 15:04:29 UTC

most of the food i eat i buy the ingredients from the supermarket and prepare them at home

2021-03-08 15:04:40 UTC

a lot cheaper

2021-03-08 15:04:46 UTC

Trueofinternationaldepresser- Joe Biden

2021-03-08 15:04:53 UTC

That's what we're kinda doing now, although with our current situation it isn't the easiest thing to do

2021-03-08 15:05:16 UTC

that’s true

2021-03-08 15:05:31 UTC

i grow roses and other plants too

2021-03-08 15:05:50 UTC

i have some berry bushes too

2021-03-08 15:06:04 UTC

We're hoping to be able to get a little garden together, at the very least to grow some herbs and spices

2021-03-08 15:06:09 UTC

it just calms the mind

2021-03-08 15:06:47 UTC

my girl likes to read a lot so i’ll dry a rose ever so often and put it in the next chapter of the book

2021-03-08 15:06:59 UTC

just as a reminder of our love

2021-03-08 15:07:21 UTC

and gardens are literally the best thing you can do for your house imo

2021-03-08 15:07:44 UTC

they’re so peaceful

2021-03-08 15:08:05 UTC

Oh see I just slap my wife on the butt and just go "I have strong feelings for you." and it seems to work out

2021-03-08 15:08:13 UTC

lmao yeah

2021-03-08 15:09:02 UTC

you ever put a telescope up and searched through the night for stuff ?

2021-03-08 15:09:12 UTC

She's not really into flowers though, but she'd be really happy if I was growing her some spices and stuff

2021-03-08 15:09:24 UTC

to each their own

2021-03-08 15:09:42 UTC

No, we don't need a telescope out here. Skies are clear, we can see everything. I do have an app that tells you what you're looking at though

2021-03-08 15:10:20 UTC

sky’s are clear 9 times out of 10 here but i still find it to be fun
