So the Russian Civil War was justified because Lenin wanted a better future for Russians?
And Holodomor was justified because Stalin needed to export grain to industrialize the Soviet Union and thus improve the living standards?
And was the Spanish Civil War justifed because Franco wanted a better Spain?
Lenin did things that was outside the boundaries that i think is necesary (killing the entire monarchis family) and genocide is never justified. And well, yes. Franco's civil war was justified
How can you be so sure that you are right about your worldview that you are willing to spill blood to achieve your political goals if necessary?
Takes dedication to the philosophy at the very least
Hm
Kinda moderate
ban people
Not guns.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
words to live by
Isn't it already being infringed?
I mean full auto production and import are banned for example
yes
it is
and thats the problem
200$ for a suppressor. they can save your ears if you have to shoot without earpro like in a home defence situation
and background checks
and for clarification, 200$ tax stamp
not the actual price
same because im not american
Silencers are completely illegal
And guns...they question
Your familly and neigbours
To get a fucking permit
Its super hard
here you cant own firearms for self defence unless you can prove you need one
and other laws about what configurations are you allowed for hunting or sporting
and no full auto for anyone
That sucks
lol thats ironic; being told that you cant have firearms **is** proof you need one
ikr
I am no red, but if what ended the Great Depression was more regulation of the economy and more safeguards, then why would the Great Depression not happen in a Libertarian/AnCap society? The only answer I have to this is that there wouldn't be banks, Federal Reserve or a fiat currency, any other input?
@terry Background question for you what started or exacerbated the Great Depression
what made this Depression different from the ones before, and why so
I'm not too sure
I think it was something with the Federal Reserve or Central Banks
Rothbard has some good texts on this subject, I suppose this video would be a good starting point https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0SW3BgwL14
Great Depression was caused directly by the failiure of government and Federal Reserve's wrong monetary policies. Even the chairman of Federal Reserve (which was the government instutiton responsible for the monetary policy of the US) Ben Bernanke acknowledged that fact. US Government, by intervening the economy, turned a recession into a crisis. American economy between 1930 and 1940 failed to add anything to its capital stock: net private invesment for that eleven year totaled minus 3.1 billion dollars. Without capital accumilation, no economy can grow. If demagoguery were a powerful means of creating prosperity, then FDR might have lifted the country out of depression in short order. But in 1939, ten years after its onset and six years after the commencement of the New Deal, 17.2 percent of the US labor force, officialy, remained unemployed. So in short New Deal didn't heal anything it only worsened and prolonged the situation.
Well said
