There's a chance they'll calm down to an extent after she completely stops, gotta ease into it as it does make dreams more intense when you first stop smoking but eventually they get calmer, other than that I don't know all too much about the psychology of dreams, but you should suggest she tries not smoking for a week or two and see if the dreams are less intense than when she stops only for a couple nights
Ok. and would you recommned stopping for overall health benefits
If not it'd probably be a good idea to see a (((psychiatrist))) about it, suppressing them with weed every night is a horrible idea if that becomes the intent
And psychological benefits
Ok. Thanks a lot.
Smoking that often isn't good
Yeah I'm not a fan.
Especially if shes going to have my kids someday
Also if she uses nicotine that will be contributing to making her dreams worse
Oh. Well she doesnt do that. If she smoked cigarettes I would not be with her.
cigs are not very lady like
What's the medical opinion on smoking tobacco from a pipe?
It's cool looking. 😎
Everything from this book is probably available online for free but hey it was $1 from a garage sale and it's from 1982 so why not
Yes because the internet doesn't always work!
@Pat-MA sounds like she's self medicating for some PTSD type symptoms. She needs to be in therapy at least, the data on ssri are kind of shitty and without knowing her I can't judge risk/benefit but therapy for sure would benefit her.
@Deleted User be careful, lot of out of date stuff in there. If you want a more recent one you can likely find a PDR or few year old Harrison's, Cecil's, Stanford that would be much more useful
Any time, feel free to dm questions if you need to
Anyone @here want to go over some stuff our medics could learn from this mass cas event?
is #1 don't try to do CPR in a wheel barrow?
I'm no medic, but know how to deal with tournequttes and sucking chest wounds
well, most tournequttes are easily fashionable of clothes n stuff, but being able to deal with the latter, I'm not sure you can really do that with clothes haha
Not playing stump the chump, but it's not something I'd carry, and if I did maybe one of each.
i think you need a special bandage? i forget
Anything to form a seal and tape on 3 sides.
I think our setup for rallies needs more organization, but we had the right idea with medics spread out.
Only perform rescue measures if you can maximize the chances of your safety as well. If you put your life in significant danger to save someone who may be unlikely to survive, you are risking 2 casualties, yourself and the victim.
Have situational awareness, it is often best to choose the most logical/simplest solution in a chaotic situation.
Thought this was worth sharing. Never saw this video until my EMT class.
