I'm no lolbertarian, the point is to maintain control of your police force when and if the fed decided they wanted to hijack their assets.

First, there is no such place as Sharpstown, Texas. Sharpstown is a master-planned community in southwest Houston, Texas. Sharpstown has never had its own schools, fire department, mayor, post offices, city council, or police force. It is under the jurisdiction of the Houston Police Department, just like downtown Houston, River Oaks, and Fifth Ward.

Because, as a private company it doesn't have any obligation to comply or hand over evidence/assets/information.

Instead of private police, we should just simply have a town militia that in times of need, that would organize to hunt down criminals within the town and keep it safe.

Also how do you displace the existing police force with your own security, will the sheriff that already enforces the law themre simply let you do whatever you want? This sounds exactly type of thing that will attract the feds
