what?
and where do we get the start up capital for that
im lost nothing, can you elaborate?
Hold on, let me get the name.
>private police force
Libertarian detected.
you're all violating the nap right now
Sharpstown, it's in Texas.
It wouldn't be a private corporation such as Academi or in this case S.E.A.L, it'd be a company owned by one of "us."
I'm no lolbertarian, the point is to maintain control of your police force when and if the fed decided they wanted to hijack their assets.
First, there is no such place as Sharpstown, Texas. Sharpstown is a master-planned community in southwest Houston, Texas. Sharpstown has never had its own schools, fire department, mayor, post offices, city council, or police force. It is under the jurisdiction of the Houston Police Department, just like downtown Houston, River Oaks, and Fifth Ward.
its literally what we are doing, its a community, it still falls under outside jurisdiction
interesting for other obvious reasons tho
Well, if it hasn't been done, that doesn't mean it can't be done.
how is your private police force going to stop the feds exactly?
Because, as a private company it doesn't have any obligation to comply or hand over evidence/assets/information.
so the feds are just going to accept that and go away?
Instead of private police, we should just simply have a town militia that in times of need, that would organize to hunt down criminals within the town and keep it safe.
No, I'm sure they'll go through the courts.
we're not going to 'hunt down criminals'
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
again, why would they ever walk in and take charge? What would be their motivation? and how is a private police for going to prevent them from taking charge?
Well I've already answered those questions.
i think we're deep in a what-if hole at the moment
i mean they probably will walk in and arrest everybody if we start hunting down and killing criminals, but thats obviously not what we want
I never suggested that.
'what if we were somehow being investgated for attempting the necromantic ressurection of mein fuhrer'

Do you honestly think once this gains any traction we won't be on the fed's radar?
It'll be slow.
i think you're drastically overestimating exactly how many people will actually be ready to do this in the timelines we've kicked around
It's foresight.
we've talked about 3 and 5 years, and i figure we might have a dozen family units on a high estimate
I honestly don't, I dont see why the feds are so interested in a couple of people moving to some town, we're not here to break the law
I'm not under any delusions that this is some 6 month project.
i worry that the perception is that within a week of breaking ground i'll be wearing my swastika armband downtown while stumping to impeach the current mayor
and if they need 'evidence', they will probably find it.
It'll bide time if nothing else.
we're doing what thousands of rich people do every year, building a community that minorities cant buy into, we are just being about 5% more honest about it
