Self sufficiency is something that will be necesarry in the long run. Call me a conspiracy theorist, or a larper or whatever you'd like. But, society and the United States are not sustainable as they are now. Both of those things will either face gigantic change or death within the next 100 years.

I haven't been active, so I'm sure if this has been touched on yet. But the infiltration of a small towns city council level of politics would be a decent start.

Plus, if you think about it. Who ever really pays attention to city level politics? How many people can name their city council members? Yet these people (at least in my town) are able to do things such as bar huge companies from entering the area to allow for our local ISP to have a monopoly.

Realistically, that shouldn't be so tough.

You might want to explore options like permaculture instead of standard farming.

If you really wanted to get into it, you could "hire" a private security company (perhaps one owned by one of us) instead of a police force much like that one town.

But a police force is obligated to comply with the federal government (such as FBI investigations.)

In those situations the fed is able to take complete control of your force.

I imagine you'd want to be as autonomous as possible, though.

The embodiement of the police force doesn't really matter, they still don't get a choice when the fed comes to town.

Or else they're out of their position.

America could change coat right now, replace the stars with swastikas. It would not change the fact that America is the largest proponent and creator of the society we seek to seperate ourselves from.

President, congress, senate, courts and all government organizations are and will continue to be infiltrated by people with evil goals, and they will conspire with each other as they always have.

In the miniature level, sure, it's possible to get to where we're going in whatever timespan you've devised with the peaceful legislative approach.

But once you reach a certain size they're not going to live and let live anymore, it will start with articles and news segments about the little 99% white town. And from there it's going to grow.

The government probably won't have to do anything, the manipulated masses would do it for them.

And then we'll see movements like Antifa and Black Lives Matter at the gates.

I'm not trying to larp at you or come up with a bunch of "what if's" I'm trying to answer the questions nobody is asking.

And if I'm wrong, then good, you won't need it.

But if I'm right and you ignore it, you'll end up running about without a clew of what to do when it happens, and that'll be the end of whatever you've built.
