So in like the sixties, the Pope called a new council of Bishops to decide on a new liberalistic church doctrine and I believe invoked infallibility to make all the decisions made there final.
So through this they greatly liberalized the Catholic Church from what it was.
And it’s affects can still be heavily seen today.
Infallibility was not invoked.
No? That’s reassuring.
So what vatican 2 shit show can be fixed, We just need 1 good pope
Which we will get in time.
@Deleted User So essentially there's no need to be a sede? Just be a loyal catholic and pray it will be fixed soon?
No need to be sede, but don't be obedient to error either
stay faithful to the traditional Latin Mass and doctrines of the faith that have been compromised
VII was the French Revolution equivalent in the Church and will undoubtedly be undone in the future
@AngloCelticRebel Magyar Nick said it all for me, Go to latin mass and ignore the bullshit.
There is nothing to fix. The vernacular liturgy is only there as an option
@Deleted User ok cause while looking for a church to join i made sure to find one that had a latin mass which i did
I haven't joined yet tho
The Latin tridentine mass still is celebrated
In fact Vatican 2 specified nothing about a mandatory shift from the tridentine liturgy
The novus ordo was declared a change after Vatican 2 by pope Paul 6
But Benedict reversed that change by saying that both liturgies are now valid and left to the bishop and his diocese
It wasn't a mandatory change but more and more are choosing to do the other option
Stop spreading fake news that Vatican 2 made it mandatory
I said it wasnt
Read up on church history. Benedict was an ardent lover of the tridentine but he still said for the modern world novus ordo is not wrong
@AngloCelticRebel I didn't mean you. Just the chat in general
@daddyDave oh ok, i personally prefer the Latin. It feels like it binds the church together more
Ah. I have never been. Would love to though. But in India it's almost impossible
ooof
theres one near me thats supposed to be lovely
I haven't been to one before either i just prefer the notion of it. Imagine two Catholics one speaks German the other spanish. They can go to Latin mass and both understand and rejoice in the faith together
yes go to lati nMASS
its based
its beautiful, reverant and the people there are great and redpilled
I saw a guy with anti socialist stickers on his car at my latin mass lol
they only understand if they speak lation lol
if you go to latin mass every sunday you will figure it out in time.
