"LOOKA DIS BITCH" really got to him

2018-07-16 20:16:51 UTC

Can someone explain to me the Vatican II ordeal?

2018-07-16 21:10:33 UTC

So in like the sixties, the Pope called a new council of Bishops to decide on a new liberalistic church doctrine and I believe invoked infallibility to make all the decisions made there final.

2018-07-16 21:10:50 UTC

So through this they greatly liberalized the Catholic Church from what it was.

2018-07-16 21:11:11 UTC

And it’s affects can still be heavily seen today.

2018-07-16 21:22:24 UTC

Infallibility was not invoked.

2018-07-16 21:22:29 UTC
2018-07-16 21:23:44 UTC

No? That’s reassuring.

2018-07-16 23:56:00 UTC

So what vatican 2 shit show can be fixed, We just need 1 good pope

2018-07-16 23:56:04 UTC

Which we will get in time.

2018-07-17 00:01:44 UTC

@Deleted User So essentially there's no need to be a sede? Just be a loyal catholic and pray it will be fixed soon?

2018-07-17 01:26:47 UTC

No need to be sede, but don't be obedient to error either

2018-07-17 01:27:16 UTC

stay faithful to the traditional Latin Mass and doctrines of the faith that have been compromised

2018-07-17 01:28:44 UTC

VII was the French Revolution equivalent in the Church and will undoubtedly be undone in the future

2018-07-17 01:39:50 UTC

@AngloCelticRebel Magyar Nick said it all for me, Go to latin mass and ignore the bullshit.

2018-07-17 01:40:44 UTC

There is nothing to fix. The vernacular liturgy is only there as an option

2018-07-17 01:41:05 UTC

@Deleted User ok cause while looking for a church to join i made sure to find one that had a latin mass which i did

2018-07-17 01:41:15 UTC

I haven't joined yet tho

2018-07-17 01:41:16 UTC

The Latin tridentine mass still is celebrated

2018-07-17 01:42:06 UTC

In fact Vatican 2 specified nothing about a mandatory shift from the tridentine liturgy

2018-07-17 01:43:06 UTC

The novus ordo was declared a change after Vatican 2 by pope Paul 6

2018-07-17 01:44:01 UTC

But Benedict reversed that change by saying that both liturgies are now valid and left to the bishop and his diocese

2018-07-17 01:44:17 UTC

It wasn't a mandatory change but more and more are choosing to do the other option

2018-07-17 01:44:29 UTC

Stop spreading fake news that Vatican 2 made it mandatory

2018-07-17 01:45:02 UTC

I said it wasnt

2018-07-17 01:45:41 UTC

Read up on church history. Benedict was an ardent lover of the tridentine but he still said for the modern world novus ordo is not wrong

2018-07-17 01:46:03 UTC

@AngloCelticRebel I didn't mean you. Just the chat in general

2018-07-17 01:46:59 UTC

@daddyDave oh ok, i personally prefer the Latin. It feels like it binds the church together more

2018-07-17 01:47:35 UTC

Ah. I have never been. Would love to though. But in India it's almost impossible

2018-07-17 01:47:44 UTC

ooof

2018-07-17 01:47:57 UTC

theres one near me thats supposed to be lovely

2018-07-17 01:51:06 UTC

I haven't been to one before either i just prefer the notion of it. Imagine two Catholics one speaks German the other spanish. They can go to Latin mass and both understand and rejoice in the faith together

2018-07-17 01:51:17 UTC

yes go to lati nMASS

2018-07-17 01:51:18 UTC

2018-07-17 01:51:35 UTC

its beautiful, reverant and the people there are great and redpilled

2018-07-17 01:51:50 UTC

I saw a guy with anti socialist stickers on his car at my latin mass lol

2018-07-17 01:54:04 UTC

they only understand if they speak lation lol

2018-07-17 01:54:25 UTC

if you go to latin mass every sunday you will figure it out in time.

2018-07-17 01:54:48 UTC

2018-07-17 01:54:59 UTC
