also in regards to a tridentine mass. that is also the mass i attend
its typically only done where there are chad traditionialists
so its a safe bet
ummmm, are there nonwhites there
cuz im gonna feel really socially autistic
*le mutt just strolls on in to get baptized by a church with tridentine mass*
id rather not affect their prayer experience negatively if i could
lol
they wont give a shit
they will just be happy you are chad for going
ok thanks
pope francis is the most corrupt, anti-catholic pope in the history of the Church so don't feel any need to defend him
he's now been credibly accused of covering up sex abuse so even mainstream catholics are turning on him at this point

why r the prots who call into the show so fucking dumb
one second hes on about how much tradition they have then goes on to talk about how it doesn't matter how old the church is but everything they have they took from the church
What I don't get is how they never seem to have a response to Nick when he explains catholic theology
It's always just "Okay"
The Orthodox guys always seem to have something to come back with, even if it's not always amazing
Fellas I’ve been going to mass, RCIA and reading an introductory book on Catholicism. As someone with basically no religious background I’m completely overwhelmed and probably doing everything wrong but I still feel the most content, reflective, compassionate etc I’ve ever felt in my life. And I owe it to Nick and you guys. God bless Nickers.
God bless you dude
@Polybius it isnt going to be easy
but god bless you and help us
@Joe the boomer thanks fren
God bless you too
I'm starting RCIA also, been going over bits of the catechism where I can and have been getting to mass more regularly
Was an unironic vargfag about a year ago, and haven't looked back since becoming christian like
I would highly suggest that ANY theologian worth their salt says the eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. Its basically the defining characteristic of Catholicism.
If you can grasp the REALITY of the Sacrifice of the Mass....then the rest will come. I would largely look up apologetics on this topic and then watch the graces flow
