this is a massive problem for the young Earth

2019-11-08 18:06:42 UTC

Carbon dating is flawed at best. Likely its complete garbage

2019-11-08 18:07:01 UTC

ok how is it flawed

2019-11-08 18:07:26 UTC

They dont know how much carbon was in the atmosphere thousands of years ago for 1

2019-11-08 18:07:53 UTC

there are ways of finding out

2019-11-08 18:08:31 UTC

the ratio appears to have mostly been consistent

2019-11-08 18:08:33 UTC

throughout the ages

2019-11-08 18:10:25 UTC

We also tested it on objects with already known ages

2019-11-08 18:10:51 UTC

It can also be calibrated using tree rings

2019-11-08 18:11:22 UTC

@Citizen Z is that it?

2019-11-11 07:43:38 UTC

HEY

2019-11-11 13:36:35 UTC
2019-11-11 16:32:13 UTC

No there is more

2019-11-11 17:15:17 UTC

more?

2019-11-11 17:15:20 UTC

more what?

2019-11-13 00:34:27 UTC

Evolution is true. This is not debateable

2019-11-13 00:35:22 UTC

@Citizen Z not only does it not matter the amount of carbon that was in the atmosphere, but we don’t use carbon dating when a sample is more than a few thousand years old

2019-11-13 00:43:42 UTC

Nothing cant create itself. Creation is true. Not debatable

2019-11-13 00:46:16 UTC

No one said something created itself

2019-11-13 00:46:54 UTC

You’re so incredibly out of tune with the mainstream view of biology for the past several hundred years

2019-11-13 00:47:22 UTC

Even in the age of Darwin, no one thought that evolution was false. They were debating the mechanism responsible for evolution

2019-11-13 05:31:08 UTC

^ yeah im interested in knowing both sides of this

2019-11-13 05:31:31 UTC

we know microevolution exists

2019-11-13 05:31:36 UTC

mutations of bacteria

2019-11-13 05:32:37 UTC

along with many organisms

2019-11-13 05:32:44 UTC

its simply genetics actually

2019-11-13 05:33:01 UTC

change in alleles

2019-11-13 05:34:38 UTC

not only that but the similar bone/skeletal structure of organisms like human hand bones shape in sea creatures

2019-11-13 06:40:25 UTC

@fastlanejam “micro”evolution implies “macro”evolution. I put them in quotation marks because scientists don’t make a distinction between the two because they know they’re the same thing, just over different time periods.

Aka, small changes that occur over small periods of time implies large changes that accumulate over large periods of time

2019-11-13 09:05:39 UTC

If evolution was real why is it not continuing. Why are not monkeys turning into men right now. All I see is de-evolution.

2019-11-13 10:57:08 UTC

It is still continuing, the fact that it looks like de-evolution is because we're able to keep those who would have died prematurely alive, and with that keeping their genes alive @Julie Shoraga

2019-11-13 10:58:44 UTC

Also, evolution is extremely slow, in the past few hundred years we've known about it's existence and started understanding it, not much has changed at the larger scale of beings so to say

2019-11-13 11:01:13 UTC

Also, arguing that in evolution nothing creates itself is not correct, unless you mean abiogenesis but that's complicated af and I don't understand it. Abiogenesis is not part of evolution

2019-11-13 17:23:08 UTC

You cant get back to evolution unless you have abiogenesis

2019-11-13 17:23:22 UTC

These theories are complete garbage

2019-11-13 17:23:53 UTC

https://youtu.be/_zQXgJ-dXM4he is a synthetic chemist with 200 patents
Pretty much proves abiogensis at least on earth is utterly impossible
He has a few videosvery comprehensive. He goes through the process of actually making a complex molecule. To say it is difficult is the understatement of the year. invented the nanocar. a molecular car with actual rotating wheelsthe bottom line is no abiogeneses ....organic matter from inorganic matter, you can't even get to evolution. rock babies... impossible

2019-11-13 20:16:14 UTC

Abiogenesis is often misinterpreted

2019-11-13 20:16:43 UTC

The only thing that it tells us is that we can get organic molecules from inorganic and natural processes

2019-11-13 20:16:55 UTC

Just look at the miller-urey experiments

2019-11-13 21:17:08 UTC
2019-11-13 21:56:20 UTC

Organic matter from inorganic matter.

Rock babies

Your ancestors are rocks.
