Can someone explain to me how the force known as gravity works on the flat earth model?
yeah hard
its confusing
Gravity is a theory
@Citizen Z A *scientific* theory. There is a difference.
Isn;t the earth always moving up on the flat earth model?
The sun and moon are
Potentially at least
Like I said, we don't know all the answers.
But it would explain seasons.
@lol xd lol no
Earth doesnt move
so how do things go back down
@Citizen Z why?
@lol xd lol density and bouyancy
@lol xd lol You're referring to Universal Acceleration and that explanation is considered Flat Earth Society propaganda. It's taboo on this server, as per Rule 11 of the Community Guidelines.
oh ok
hey drew. how are you doing?
sounds nice 🙂 im doing alright
i hope you both will have a good time
thanks! I hope you have a fun night too 🙂
thanks
im gonna be a human for halloween
lol me too
but she's gonna be a bumble bee ❤
awe
Gravity is supported by experiment
No objects move without forces acting on them
Here is a video proving gravity with experiments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym6nlwvQZnE
Cavendish
oh, the second experiment is neat
Bouyancy doesn't work without gravity. @Citizen Z
You can have the buoyant force if the fluid is constantly accelerating in a direction
Because that creates the same pressure gradient as gravity
^ The equivalence principle.
Exactly
