@RidleyChozo i get the same effect with my telescope
and the shimmer is magnified allot when i blow hot air in front of it
not to mention i get the same effect when i aim my telescope on some distant city lights

also it dosnt look that focused

only difference is there is a black cross in the circle because of the secondary mirror in the way

with my telescope

the shimmer goes away when i let my telescope sit outside for a few mins to equalize in temperature

after that i can see venus and its crescent shape for its phases
