Fair

2019-11-05 01:13:22 UTC

Like your beliefs seem logical to you

2019-11-05 01:13:27 UTC

You seem like a smart person compared to these trolls.

2019-11-05 01:13:50 UTC

I just find it hard to believe something that we can never observe ourselves.

2019-11-05 01:14:02 UTC

We just need to trust NASA and Fakex.

2019-11-05 01:15:37 UTC

There are things that can't be explained on the flat earth model

2019-11-05 01:15:43 UTC

Uncertainty is scary

2019-11-05 01:15:50 UTC

To most people anyways

2019-11-05 01:15:58 UTC

Its certain its flat

2019-11-05 01:16:05 UTC

Thats what matters

2019-11-05 01:16:23 UTC

Its certain its not a globe like we r taught

2019-11-05 01:16:29 UTC

Thats what matters

2019-11-05 01:17:53 UTC

There's no empirical proof that we are on a globe, but there is for a flat earth.

2019-11-05 01:18:11 UTC

People only buy into it because thats what they were taught as children.

2019-11-05 01:18:31 UTC

Can a baby comprehend or even understand where or what they are living on? No.

2019-11-05 01:18:57 UTC

But if you engrave it into their minds for years, they'll believe it after a while and call people like us stupid.

2019-11-05 01:19:19 UTC

Pretty sure almost every flat earther used to believe earth was a globe.

2019-11-05 01:19:29 UTC

Can I bring up a counter to one of the arguments I see about not being able to feel the earth spinning

2019-11-05 01:20:40 UTC

What is it?

2019-11-05 01:21:26 UTC

When you are on a plane you don’t feel it moving and until you look out the window you can’t tell if you are moving, the only time you feel movement is during the acceleration of it

2019-11-05 01:21:54 UTC

True, but I would argue that if you are spinning at over 1000mph, that's different.

2019-11-05 01:22:02 UTC

And everything would just fly off.

2019-11-05 01:22:07 UTC

Water doesn't stick to a ball.

2019-11-05 01:23:01 UTC

But you are forgetting that in order for the globe model to work you need gravity, but I know you don’t believe in that

2019-11-05 01:25:59 UTC

It’s a circle of not believing one thing about each others model that leads to not believing everything else

2019-11-05 01:40:00 UTC

True

2019-11-05 01:40:08 UTC

You can't pick and choose, you have to disprove or prove.

2019-11-05 01:40:12 UTC

With facts and evidence.

2019-11-05 01:40:35 UTC

I use empirical evidence a lot, and that can be difficult to prove for people who don't go outside, hike, go to the beach, etc, a lot.

2019-11-05 01:40:56 UTC

But even just stargazing or looking up at the sky can assist.

2019-11-05 01:51:24 UTC

@Aba🥀 The only evidence you have is that NASA said they put it there, if you try to check it with a telescope it's not viewable. It would be safe to assume it didn't happen when you can neither prove nor disprove unless you're gonna take NASA words as absolute truth.

2019-11-05 01:54:11 UTC

That requires faith and faith is pseudoscience which is also an argument from authority, something NASA has been relying on a lot.

2019-11-05 01:55:32 UTC

It amazes me how most NASA believers are atheists but put their faith in everything they say.

2019-11-05 02:01:31 UTC

2019-11-05 02:01:43 UTC

How can you just blindly accept what someone says?

2019-11-05 02:03:08 UTC

I have never experienced any of the stuff that they say occurs. This includes but is not limited to: Unobstructed curvature, spinning at over 1000mph, watching ships and buildings sink below the horizon (just an optical illusion or a result of perspective, not a result of curvature).

2019-11-05 02:03:38 UTC

I also doubt the ISS is in outer-space.

2019-11-05 02:30:32 UTC

2019-11-05 02:30:43 UTC

Wtf

2019-11-05 02:30:47 UTC

I never used and bad words
