We can see the moon because the sun shines light on it. When the earth is inbetween the moon and sun (like this: 🌙 🌍 ☀️) then the light from the sun isn’t hitting the moon, thus we cannot see the moon

And the light from the earth couldn’t radiate on a flat earth

Not to mention 50 times over the past 500 both the sun and moon have been seen in the sky during an eclipse which makes it impossible with your theory

Shadows are made by blocking light.
