i find it interesting that us is providing real anti tank weapons to ukraine...which is really interesting that it's javelins ....javelins is ineffective against modern russian armor which is protected by layers of 'explosive reactive armor plates'
u'd have to fire a few javelins to take down 1 tank...first few rounds would be to blow off the 'explosive reactive armor' ...before they can get an opening past the defenses to actually hit the 'meat' of the tank
t-72 and below doesn't have the addition of the 'explosive reactive armor' ...so they can be taken out by 1-2 javelins just fine
t-90 and up have kits to add extra protection against missile and shell shots at the tanks via static plates and 'explosive reactive armor'
what would make it really interesting is this extra armor tech...is a usa creation
not soviet nor russian creation
and it's post 2000's tech
some research was done prior to 2000's for usa tanks but it was later advanced post 9/11
desert storm(pre 2000) had m60 usa tanks rigged with such armor tech
but it was crude and sensitive to hot environments
the things u find out researching facts used in a game called 'armored warfare'
when all this crap is mostly done and over with, i most likely will return to some old games and some newer ones after i upgrade my pc
