Throw a wrench into the discussion by writing it about the Coptic Christians
Eh not too much Coptics. I may talk about Assyrians Catholics though.
The Coptic Orthodox Christians are the ones caught in the middle of it all and murdered by both sides.
Coptics are only prevalent in Alexandria, Armenia and Ethiopia.
Assyrians are the one's caught in the middle.
A lot of them fled to Michigan a while ago because of it.
I can assure you we protected and provided safe haven to many in Iraq while I was there. They're all over the M.E.
@NateDahl76 dude that is almost normie friendly
I think the title could be a little softer
A lot of nonchristian ME's came to MI too <:teehee:381917632359563264>
Eh, they may be a minority but if I'm not mistaken the prevalent group in Iraq is Catholics of the Assyrian rite.
That was the group that went from 19% of Iraq's population to 3% with ISIS.
@Trashboat Dearborn must go.
It sure doesn't look like any other city thats for sure
@Phillip Wiglesworth - FL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaldean_Catholics here. They're called Chaldeans. They're all over Michigan.
*nods* We have quite a few here in Florida, too. They even opened their own church right here in my town (Tallahassee).
(the Coptics, I mean)
@Procella Eques yeah man it’s pretty impressive
I'm messaging it to some facebook friends
I don't think its quite facebook post but its message worthy certainly
It’s pretty good. Dude has solid enough optics and demeanor that the poster thought he was the professor. Glad I shared it on here
How often do you guys buy groceries?
I just moved into an apartment alone and I'm figuring out how to do life
Short answer: as often as you need to
I guess the amount of trips I make isn't particularly important as long as I stay within budget, right?
Me? My waifu does the shopping, usually once a week if you buy a few gallons of milk or whatever you use the most
I keep realizing I forgot to buy something
For example, I just realized I don't have a potato masher or a strainer
Oh, like pots, pans, and utensils?
At least you only have to get them once
whenever you buy something, think: do I have the stuff to make this?
I was trying to hold off on grocery shopping until Friday but this stuff is kinda important. Yes, kitchen stuff, but if I'm gonna go make a trip I might as well do next weeks groceries.
Potato smasher, lol. Making your own mashed potatoes?
Well, no, because I'm on keto, but mashed cauliflower
That's why I didn't think about getting it earlier. I bought cauliflower, but a few days later I realized you can mash it like potatoes. It's really good, I did it with a fork yesterday.
@Jacob I go grocery shopping almost every day after work, since it's extremely convenient for me to do so (store is next to my shop), and since I'm on a motorcycle it helps me be very picky and restrictive on what I buy. I know exactly how much/what I can pack in my bags to get home, and it prevents impulse buying. I also generally stick to just getting stuff on sale (BOGO), and that's what'll be for dinner for the next night or two.
I have a store near by, too, but it WinCo is 1 hour 30 minutes away
The stores near me aren't particularly bad (except Safeway, which is a rip off), it's just that WinCo has both an amazing selection and amazing prices
Motorcycle grocery shopping = cope posting irl
lol
Is it unreasonable for me to spend that kind of time getting to a grocery store? The prices and selection are just too great to pass up
