Yeah It was meant to be a hyrbrid between battle rifles and SMG's

I guarantee you if you sat a whole bunch of people down and had them look at something like a black AR-15 and a wooden mini-14 they'd think the mini-14 wasn't an assaultr ifle

I remember when Rainbow Six first came out, and you could choose a white M14 as your loadout

being young I was like 'lol y u use an old rifle for?'
