we were talking in a public channel, me and my best friend were double teaming him to convince him that he wasn't progressive because nobody sane is progressive

then someone else joined who we both know is actually progressive

and I think our strongest argument was the fact that every single time we see something that disagrees with our viewpoint, especially if it comes from the progressive viewpoint, we'll actually watch and critically analyze it as we would any other piece of information instead of disregarding it
