depends on how you look at it, it can be easy / hard to fire someone here. if you want a person gone just give him 3 written warnings for underperforming or not following rules

When I ran a Pizza Place I didn't have a contract

and respectfully my boss never threw that in my face but he did to others.

if you work for someone without a contract and the other party complains when shit happens it their own fault. contracts can be annoying but it clarifies what is expected between two people

I want to contract my best manager, my best Kitchen worker and my best delivery driver

I wanted to contract our best delivery driver OR atleast pay him £3 an hour more cus he had a VW Polo that could do 150mph

and he knew all the roads likes a taxi driver.

The Polo dude went to Domino's Pizza for £1.50 an hour more

He can deliver 4 pizzas in the time in takes some of these donuts to deliver one

but If I offer him a contract at say 10-11 before the bidding war. He'll sign it

and it takes time to get out of a contract

and you can give counter offers when a prime worker puts in his two/four weeks if you have them on a contract
