i mean i like to just look back at history somewhat
before some time around 1960-70, it was unthinkable that european countries would become nonwhite
so i guess you could call all of the governments and nations before that time nazis if you want
but it's plainly untrue
even right can mean so many things. it's individual capitalism on the political compass. that and nothing else. fascism doesn't equal right, it's just highly authoritarian or top, y axis
for me the right merely means one who for one reason or another, is against setting social and economic equality as a goal

The typical reply I get from Leftists is that I'm using the "wrong" definitions of what Left and Right actually are...
...they redefine words to suit themselves - imagine my shock
Out of curiosity, what definitions do you use?
Left is centralised big government, and hive minded citizens.
Right is minimalist government and individual freedom.
left = correct, right = hitler
Their normal reply is something along the lines of "You watch too much Prager U"
...except that I've never watched Prager U, so I don't know what they're getting at.
I don't like the idea of a political dichotomy, but I suppose we're stuck with it.
The only way you can make Hitler right wing is if you define the right/left spectrum as different aspects of Socialism... that way, the only ideology on the table is a form of Socialism - so that's probably why they do it that way - simply so anything else doesn't even get a mention.
