the Liberian county flags are the best
From what I remember of the county flags of Liberia, they're anything but *the best*
lots of symbolism in them
for example the blue part represents a river
These are nice flags
Thank you
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Land Value Taxation. The efficiency gains are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of net present values most of the surplus will go over a typical person's head. There's also George's progressive outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from classical liberal literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of transfers, to realise that they're not just productivity enhancing- they say something deep about individual merit. As a consequence people who dislike LVT truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in George's existential catchphrase "everybody works but the vacant lot," which itself is a cryptic reference to Smith's epic On the Wealth of Nations. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Henry George's genius wit unfolds itself on their income tax forms. What fools.. how I pity them.
Taxation is theft

What are the flaws of the nordic model?
unclear whether it works because their population is mostly nordic, or because of the model
I thought it was because it doesnt scale very well above 5 million people <:kek:590371888480387073>
why would it not
Cus then you get different living conditions
Different classes
pretty sure people living in stockholm have slightly different living conditions than those living in the far north arctic circle region
How sure tho?
@Tero some would call it Stockholm syndrome
