yes yes, I guess the first thing we'll see is the IG report
"Government actors are responsible for creating and exposing the Plaintiffs to the
unlawful actions of an angry mob of violent anarchists by directing law enforcement officers to vacate
locations in and around Sproul Plaza and the MLK Center at UC Berkeley, ..."
"By their failure to
intervene or employ reasonable tactical methods to ensure the safety of the Plaintiffs and the public,
4 government actors conducted their official duties with deliberate indifference to the Plaintiffsβ safety, ..."
yeah this lawsuit has lots of juice
not going to quote more from it, but there's plenty
Who is that?
she was pepper sprayed, and her boyfriend/husband (I don't remember) was beaten unconscious when they tried to enter the milo event
there's two other plaintiffs in the suit as well who were beaten
good
protest by all right but protest with in the rights
yes, this suit isn't against the protestors, it's against the university, the city, and the state
who all failed in their lawful duties, there's paragraphs of law cited in the article, it's not just 1 failure, there are lots of them
like I said, it has lots of juice - it seems like a strong lawsuit
It's Haidt
Good good
No money for fake states
It's not a state
why gib
because they are "suffering", you know, instead of actually building an economy and a working society
they just actively sit around suffering instead
that's why we gib
I cannot look away
"There is no way to reconcile David Palumbo-Liu's position as a professor teaching students with his status as the campus representative of an ideology known for inspiring savage assaults of students holding opposing political opinions."
shots fired!
BOOM!
ah, the article seems to be written by two students - I was hoping they were professors
boom!
weeeell, Anna Mitchell seems to be an editor at the stanford review paper, so "BOom!" probably
strike that, she is an editor, but also a student, so the editor role is irrelevant
someone needs to weaponise you folk
I have some numbers, which Government do you like?
I'd be willing to weaponize for a conservative US constitutional organization of some sort, it's only that I'm not a US citizen, so I'm fucked
Sorry your a Commie
I've realised that as long as the US is the worlds oil currency and the only superpower - and also while they _must_ remain those two things - the politics of other nations can frankly get fucked
and only serve as entertainment
though US politics don't lack entertainment value either :P
you were shit at computer games weren't you?
I bet you didn't even do eSports
