*plotted*

Ultimately, he hasn't done anything yet.

2018-02-05 13:07:06 UTC

Though, we know full well this is going to be taken up and just run with.

2018-02-05 13:07:30 UTC

Anything they can find to say it's the right wingers being radical terrorists, not the muslims.

mate, I spend my time organising meals from homeless people and poorer familes

it involves knives

but not machetes...

2018-02-05 13:09:44 UTC

That's because you're british, not australian

2018-02-05 13:09:55 UTC

If you were australian, a machete would be a butter knife to you.

be have some big knives

but they are for cutting food

2018-02-05 13:11:53 UTC

In either case though, at least as far as I'm aware, conspiracy isn't a crime. If his possessing of a machete or other materials is illegal, then that's reason to lock him up, but ultimately the plotting isn't a crime commited yet.

We also have many gas canisters that could be used as explosives. They power the oven...

2018-02-05 13:12:34 UTC

I'm just annoyed because we both know a few major outlets that are going to say "we have this one case therefore this is true"

2018-02-05 13:12:53 UTC

And until they're assembled into a bomb, having them is fine

2018-02-05 13:13:12 UTC

when they are assembled into an explosive device, one that can be triggered instead of just being the materials, then it's a problem

He wasn't planning anything nice

so he need to get fucked

2018-02-05 13:13:40 UTC

I know he wasn't, and terrorists don't either. But until they've broken the law, we can't arrest them.

So you think he's a fantasist?

That he's actually too dumb to actually buy a machete?

2018-02-05 13:23:44 UTC

I never said that.

2018-02-05 13:23:54 UTC

I just said he hasn't broken the law yet, to my knowledge.

2018-02-05 13:24:28 UTC

I also said this earlier:
"If his possessing of a machete or other materials is illegal, then that's reason to lock him up, but ultimately the plotting isn't a crime commited yet."
