It literally explicitly does not say that about imprisoning

2018-08-23 13:56:00 UTC

@nic The question is whether or not the post is a threat or not

2018-08-23 13:56:11 UTC

it very explicitly says that it has nothing to do with people acting on your post, only the contents of the post

2018-08-23 13:57:06 UTC

From what I see it's a law against inciting violence against people using a public platform,

2018-08-23 13:57:11 UTC

doesn't matter if it's a threat or not, as you can see by public act a), it just needs to be public and "reckless"

2018-08-23 13:57:24 UTC

all that needs to happen is a gay guy gets punched

2018-08-23 13:57:32 UTC

and if they can link you to it, they will

2018-08-23 13:57:40 UTC

and you can't argue against it, because your intent doesn't matter

2018-08-23 13:57:56 UTC

No it doesn't

Hey Nic you're <:gay:382982146249326612>

2018-08-23 13:58:40 UTC

@nic Intentionally and recklessly inciting violence
that's the phrasing
it's not
a post that is internationally reckless, or incites violence

2018-08-23 13:59:26 UTC

recklessly is used as an adjective in reference to the incitement of violence in that sentence

2018-08-23 13:59:41 UTC

` Intentionally and recklessly`
Intentionally **or** recklessly

2018-08-23 13:59:52 UTC

ffs gypsy

2018-08-23 13:59:58 UTC

read da englith

2018-08-23 14:00:21 UTC

it's worded in such a manner that they can ignore your intent and connect it to any violence or threat towards LGBT people

2018-08-23 14:01:01 UTC

but it has to be threatening violence
that's the crime
not being reckless

2018-08-23 14:01:26 UTC

you
don't
have
to
be
the
one
threatening
you
just
need
to
be
connected
to
it
somehow

2018-08-23 14:01:36 UTC

whether you know the person or not

2018-08-23 14:01:38 UTC

because it's public

2018-08-23 14:01:49 UTC

and you're "recklessly" posting against LGBT

Well you better leave this chat room then cus we have illegal emotes

2018-08-23 14:04:38 UTC

@nic No, because of the part you linked that clearly outlines that it literally cannot be connected to any violence towards LGBT people
It has to be judged entirely on whether or not the message itself is an incitement to violence
not its connection to real violence
as you yourself typed out

2018-08-23 14:07:49 UTC

it is irrelevant whether or not the alleged did the attack, only the public act

2018-08-23 14:14:58 UTC

you could literally still say gays are trash

2018-08-23 14:15:04 UTC

its a law against inciting violence or threatening people online

2018-08-23 14:16:02 UTC

I think you're misreading the part about whether people act on the threat

Words are violence Franti

2018-08-23 14:16:29 UTC

you're not getting what I'm saying
say I'm a tommy robinson style figure, I critique this shit online all the time but always stay within the law
all it would take is one gay person to get bashed and the govt to go "right, it's connected to him, we'll charge him on this" and I wouldn't have a case against it

2018-08-23 14:16:48 UTC

because intentions don't matter
I recklessly critised the lgbtlmnop

2018-08-23 14:16:57 UTC

and now I have a nice cozy cell waiting for me

2018-08-23 14:18:40 UTC

you're completely misreading that section

2018-08-23 15:56:36 UTC

welp

2018-08-23 15:56:38 UTC

that's a wrap folks

2018-08-23 15:56:43 UTC

pack it up

2018-08-23 15:56:46 UTC

we are `d o n e`

2018-08-23 15:59:50 UTC

Man I wonder how it could have gotten there

2018-08-23 16:00:02 UTC

Maybe some men of "Asian" decent perhaps?
