in regards to drug tunnels
this one was 2600 feet
This is fucking wrenching to look at https://twitter.com/Motibbs
This girl was doing well.
She may have believed some naive things, but damn... this girl had a life.
@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA] Thatβs the game they play
They go after the feelz
What do you mean?
What are we supposed to do about it?
What kind of question is that?
A practical one?
How do we prevent this from happening again?
Can't tell if you're being a heartless bastard and asking sarcastically or otherwise.
What do you want me to say? This is fucking terrible, and preventable. But it happened because people want to play politics with the lives of US citizens.
I didn't ask you to say anything. I was just sharing.

It really impacted me. I hadn't looked into the story too much, just heard about it. Decided to look it up and first thing I looked at was her twitter page. At first I was in disbelief that I was looking at the page of a girl who'd recently been murdered.
I figure it brings me a little closer to reality simply to witness and accept this, if that makes sense.
And in that sense, it's worth sharing.
In my view, it's the responsibility of men and women who care about the community to recognize these things when they happen for what they are.
I definitely understand what you're saying though. I'd need to look more into the details, to be sure of whether this was so easily preventable. Is that how you mean to characterize it?
Yes, he wasn't even supposed to be in the country.
Right. Is this another case of an illegal who could have easily been stopped from being in Iowa?
Probably. The country is too big these days. When people don't even recognize others that live within a couple of miles, that's a problem
It's always "That's someone else's problem."
So apparently he'd been living in the area for 4-7 years.
Somebody had to know about this guy...
Doesn't seem to be much more info than that out right now.
Well, my question remains, how could this have been prevented? Hopefully we get more information to answer that question with in coming weeks.
idk, but I doubt he was a bastion of virtue and an upstanding citizen before illegally living in a foreign country and murdering a young woman.
Obviously he's been overlooked more than a few times
Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out there was an opportunity this guy could have been caught earlier. If there wasn't then what the fuck is law enforcement doing in Iowa?
Hopefully we get confirmation.
Doesn't he have an anchor baby? He's a family man, how could we possibly see this coming? <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>
