D66 judges are the worst

2019-03-18 19:30:13 UTC

SGP is the only party for death penalty

2019-03-18 19:30:33 UTC

But i dont support death penalty but i do support harsher punishments

2019-03-18 19:36:34 UTC

flogging with a old wire

2019-03-18 20:28:27 UTC

finally something sensible

2019-03-18 20:46:02 UTC

can't they reverse that?

2019-03-18 20:46:09 UTC

cuz they can't revoke article 50 either

2019-03-18 20:56:44 UTC

no deal is still the legal default

Revoke Article 50 is legally possible

Apply to EU to postpone leaving date - still possible, but will require all 27 other EU states to agree (it just takes one to veto it)

2019-03-18 20:57:42 UTC

and several nations are giving hints that they may veto it

2019-03-18 21:03:34 UTC

The thing about revoking Article 50 is that it can be triggered again any time with no need for permission from EU... but it would need a Brexiter PM to take over, then go straight to no-deal because there's no point trying to expect fair treatment from a resentful EU

2019-03-18 21:04:03 UTC

Based spaghetti man

2019-03-18 21:04:52 UTC

The problem with a fresh Article 50 is that it would need to get Patliamentary approval first (win a vote)

2019-03-18 21:05:35 UTC

...and Remoaner MP's would probably not vote for it a second time, unless they fear getting lynched by their constituents.

2019-03-18 21:13:41 UTC

You Brits haven't had a good lynching yet

2019-03-18 21:17:07 UTC

<:pepe_sad:378719408345841664>

Well Democracy is supposed to prevent the Lynching

2019-03-18 21:20:32 UTC

But they're preventing the democracy so they're getting the lynching

and black

2019-03-18 21:25:05 UTC

@Jabba can parliament not reverse a ruling tho?

2019-03-18 21:27:37 UTC

Anything can be reversed with an Act of Parliament - theoretically there isn't time before 29 March, but because the place is full of Remoaners, they could maybe force it through in super-quick time, albeit that would in itself be illegal because there needs to be sufficient time to debate and review legislation.

2019-03-18 21:29:24 UTC

Remove
Kebab

2019-03-18 21:29:55 UTC

why would it not be legal?

2019-03-18 21:29:57 UTC

@Grodd can u not

2019-03-18 21:30:30 UTC

[so they maybe do it, but an enquiry would find they did not follow procedure - that should nullify the reversal, but no guarantee Parliament would really go back to No-Deal even with such a ruling]

2019-03-18 21:30:43 UTC

I'll change my name to Kebab. And then by removing me you fulfill it.

2019-03-18 21:30:50 UTC

*points to head and grins*

2019-03-18 21:31:11 UTC

πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

2019-03-18 21:31:41 UTC

well ofc they won't do it

2019-03-18 21:31:47 UTC

but in theory they could right?

2019-03-18 21:32:12 UTC

in theory, absolutely

2019-03-18 21:32:33 UTC

has that ever happened/

2019-03-18 21:33:09 UTC

where they reversed a legislation very shortly after it was passed?

2019-03-18 21:34:09 UTC

Not for something as fundamental as Brexit... normally such changes are thoroughly debated and tested first - but these cucks only care about short-term convenience rather than the fundamental earthquake they are creating to British stability.

2019-03-18 21:35:10 UTC

----
I can't think of anything offhand that would have been reversed so quickly... more like after 100-150 years

2019-03-18 21:35:17 UTC

oof

2019-03-18 21:35:36 UTC

They are fucking with the system so hard that it is creaking with their bullshit
