Thinking about bridges, I'm reminded of something my father told me about the way Germans designed a bridge. He said it could take them years to design it and argue about it, but that their bridges were meant to last hundreds of years - and that they could get the bridges together in matter of months.
This would've been during the time of the Vietnam conflict, my father was an accounting clerk in Germany during the war.

Sadly, it starts off bad... haven't gone through the whole thing, but the woman just keeps mumbling, hardly finishing coherent arguments, and making emotional arguments.

I agree, that would be interesting. But he isn't very talkative in topics he hasn't thought hard enough.
The holocaust doesn't make me cry, but it deeply effects me. All genocides do, I don't know how anybody can read or see documentaries on that kind of shit and not be effected by it.
