I'm looking for someone to accept the proposition, take the con of the prop and debate.
Ok, if Trebjonn isn't correct, you need to do a bit more than say "no he isn't" to change my mind
@Trebjonn Appeal to futility fallacies aren't arguments .
Y needs to do X therefore X is justified in all contexts across the board.
Saying an argument isnt an argument without a counter argument
Its an appeal to futility.
Nobody wants the debate?
Your argument was an assertion and irrelevant to your position being moral/immoral
Are you willing to debate us?
2-3 letters plz
I'm not responding
Unless you'll debate on vv
Vc
who is "us"
The royal us
he's king of the potatoes
The US of A
2V2
Who is supposed to be on your side of the argument
The vegetable police.
Because it's a serious ethical issue.
Its growing quite rapidly
A lot of people find pleasure in telling others how superior they are, morally speaking.
@Mal Some dont.
Yes
Those that do want to debate
Sounds like a guilt by association fallacy to me
Everything is a fallacy with you jfc
Sounds like a good tactic to dismiss moral discussion as wellclol
Is debating you going to be you just pointing out perceived logical fallacies?
Because if so, I doubt a lot of people will take the bait. <:LUL:372856126007410689>
Lines of reasoning are either fallacious or they aren't.
Who says I was reasoning, and not just taunting you?
Here we go~
That's a retarded throwaway statement.
Who wants the debate?
wew lad. Today is Speakers Corner Round Two. Prepare your MEMES
Vegan diets tend to lack heavily in protein and are often supplemented. The extra payments for supplements alone is not feasable when you can probably get the same nutritional value for less by buying a slab o' meat. Also taste needs to be factored in.
Typically fake meat is more expensive in markets. Of course it depends who you're buying from but you can get some seriously inexpensive meats which can save you quite a few bucks on shopping.
I don't even know the numbers and I'm not going to pretend I do know the numbers. But I do know this much - there are a FUCKTON of animals in this world who have been bread exclusively for eating. They are so genetically altered that they couldn't even hope to survive on their own in the wild. Which means they'd only exist (in great numbers) to be "taken care of" and I don't think that is going to pay the breeder's bills. Further more, closing down slaughter houses, breeding farms, butchers etc would cause a LOT of lost drops, which would be economically damaging.
tl;dr Veganism doesn't work.
Oh is it? It seems to have riled you up good though. <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>
