You're being intentionally dishonest @DanielKO

@Reaps
This gif is good

Correlation is evidence for causation you absolute morons

My cat scratched harder than that

2018-04-03 07:15:40 UTC

you assholes atted me

2018-04-03 07:15:52 UTC

Cause you're a dumb faggot

2018-04-03 07:15:54 UTC

Correlation does not neccecitate causation

2018-04-03 07:16:13 UTC

Dead polar bears do not cause global warming for instance

2018-04-03 07:16:21 UTC

Correlation does not necessarily equals causation, so we need nudes to be sure of it

2018-04-03 07:16:36 UTC

back

2018-04-03 07:16:59 UTC

weba

2018-04-03 07:18:41 UTC

@Sarguns why do Indians in the US outperform Indians in India by as much as 40 IQ points, surpassing whites?

2018-04-03 07:18:46 UTC

if you have a theory that a causes b, then you can do an experiment looking for a correlation. If a isn't correlated with b, you've just disproved the theory. Whereas if it is correlated, it's not what the nil hypothesis would have predicted. It's evidence for causation.

Furthermore posting pictures of spurious correlations is just stupid. Spurious corrlations are an entirely different thing. If you have a million variables, some of them will correlate just by random chance. Scientists control for this with significance testing. Especially if you have little data. Also they are using time series data which makes this more likely for complicated reasons.

2018-04-03 07:18:56 UTC

If genetics matters so much to final IQ

2018-04-03 07:19:00 UTC

@bakeon because we only let high IQ indians into the US

2018-04-03 07:19:18 UTC

the immigration system is super selective

2018-04-03 07:19:34 UTC

mostly only skilled tech workers with above average IQs get in

2018-04-03 07:19:49 UTC

You know what?

2018-04-03 07:19:52 UTC

There's no correlation between race and IQ

2018-04-03 07:19:58 UTC

Go back to e previous conversation

2018-04-03 07:20:01 UTC

70% of Indians in the US are second generation which negates your argument, their IQ is still higher without being selected

2018-04-03 07:20:05 UTC

About God and stuff

2018-04-03 07:20:06 UTC

How about we let everyone in, but only those who pledge service can be citizens?

2018-04-03 07:20:07 UTC

(also a great deal of programmers complain that indian programmers are terrible)

2018-04-03 07:20:32 UTC

Well it's over now @Fulcrum010, God debunked.

2018-04-03 07:20:56 UTC

Unironically

2018-04-03 07:21:07 UTC

@bakeon because second generation indians are the children of high IQ first generation indians. And IQ is at least 80% heritable.

2018-04-03 07:21:33 UTC

Here comes the heritability paper that no one understands

2018-04-03 07:21:35 UTC

Fuck it

2018-04-03 07:21:39 UTC

I'm going to sleep

2018-04-03 07:21:43 UTC

That's entirely economic

2018-04-03 07:21:50 UTC

what does that even mean

2018-04-03 07:21:51 UTC

And I blame you @radeon and you @DanielKO

2018-04-03 07:22:00 UTC

Race is a socio-political construct with no biological basis.

2018-04-03 07:22:05 UTC

Indians who can afford to live in the US can likely also afford higher quality education

2018-04-03 07:22:07 UTC

Next time, get a room and a pack of condoms

2018-04-03 07:22:15 UTC

@radeon Just because you are okay with freeloaders on the system who don't give back to their community or contribute to it's wellbeing, doesn't mean that's the popular opinion.
