You've got to be kidding.

2018-04-08 11:27:14 UTC

You're mincing words like a wordchef.

2018-04-08 11:27:27 UTC

That's what I meant

Anyway, if you don't think there is any way to teach hard work than with money, I don't know what to tell you.

2018-04-08 11:28:33 UTC

IMO there's plenty more to it than that.

2018-04-08 11:29:10 UTC

I don't know why you think there needs to be another reward

2018-04-08 11:29:34 UTC

I already said, money isn't the only thing people want.

2018-04-08 11:29:46 UTC

You give somthing to society, and you get something back in return (money)

2018-04-08 11:29:52 UTC

That hiw it works

2018-04-08 11:30:03 UTC

That hiw it should work

2018-04-08 11:30:07 UTC

and that's just one aspect of life

2018-04-08 11:30:28 UTC

and there's the whole rest of being a person and having wants and needs

2018-04-08 11:30:31 UTC

the money is the most important factor. its absence poses the entire problem

2018-04-08 11:31:28 UTC

Again, the other reason you might put effort into something is because you find satisfaction in it (again, doesn't mean you necessarily enjoy it)

2018-04-08 11:31:45 UTC

As you pointed out Baraban, money just represents value, so all you need to be able to offer is anything that someone values.

2018-04-08 11:32:04 UTC

Which could even just be jokes.

2018-04-08 11:32:06 UTC

the insult makes it harder to find the satisfaction

2018-04-08 11:32:22 UTC

Some people work hard just to hear some jokes and have some laughs.

2018-04-08 11:32:52 UTC

nobody is going to work for the jokes

2018-04-08 11:32:56 UTC

I guess you could ask for something else other than money, but l don't know why you would

2018-04-08 11:33:07 UTC

probably not for too long, no, but it's an example

2018-04-08 11:33:08 UTC

Money is simpler

2018-04-08 11:33:20 UTC

in fact if you have a good sense of humor it might be hardert to get people to work hard

2018-04-08 11:33:25 UTC

anyway, obviously I don't know how to explain this to you

2018-04-08 11:33:41 UTC

I tried

2018-04-08 11:33:50 UTC

Maybe

2018-04-08 11:33:55 UTC

now it's just frustrating

2018-04-08 11:34:06 UTC

I can't take care of people by giving them nice feelings to have, and i can't get them to do anything, because i suppose they dont see how their skills might carry over

2018-04-08 11:34:34 UTC

well taking care of people isn't the same as encouraging hard work

2018-04-08 11:34:44 UTC

we're obviously thinking on different wavelengths

2018-04-08 11:34:48 UTC

rightfully they shouldnt work hard where they actually are, but they shouldnt stagnate while theyre there

2018-04-08 11:35:42 UTC

It seems to be that it's the people who value hard work for reasons other than money that will be the ones to work hard even when they aren't getting paid well and don't "love" or "enjoy" it.

2018-04-08 11:36:03 UTC

Those people appreciate pure hard work and discipline because they know all the other benefits they bring.

2018-04-08 11:36:40 UTC

I mean, money is an aspect no doubt but not the whole picture.

2018-04-08 11:36:47 UTC

its the entire picture

2018-04-08 11:36:53 UTC

well we disagree

2018-04-08 11:36:56 UTC

lol

2018-04-08 11:37:11 UTC

I don't think you should work hard just for the sake of hard work, that just some pointless

2018-04-08 11:37:17 UTC

I'm not religious but to use religious imagery, God is the entire picture.

2018-04-08 11:37:21 UTC

so take that
