My siblings partied a lot as I was growing up, so I got turned off by it at a young age

They took me out a few times, not drinking or anything, back when people could still smoke indoors here, and it was pretty nasty. The people were just garbage and sloppy drunk and you couldn't see three feet in front of you because so many people were smoking inside

i think it's like, you want to be in a place where your night is open-ended. if you stay home, you know nothing interesting will happen on its own

plus, where else to meet girls

Yeah, I prefer smaller groups, and smaller venues. I would never go to burning man or something like that

I enjoyed the netflix documentary WWII in color, or whatever. Can't vouch for how much of it is accurate, but it didn't sound off from what I learned in school at least.

I'll have to check it out. Have you seen "the world at war" from the 70's, that ones pretty good too
